“If we are still trying to earn the favor and love of God with our lives, we are going to exhaust ourselves with endless striving. But when we realize that the battle has been won and we place our faith in Jesus Christ, then the war while the battles may rage on, and they will, the war has been won. And this is so important, especially if you're a striver, an achiever, the doers. I wanna talk to our type a's for a moment. There is a big difference in fighting from the victory and fighting for the victory.”
38s
“Here's the really good news: If you are in Christ, those words have been spoken over you. God has looked down from heaven at the moment that you placed your faith in Jesus Christ and He said, Beloved son, beloved daughter, I am pleased with you. That should be good news to our souls. That should nourish us. You you the affirmation that you're longing for, for those of you who are in Christ Jesus, you've already received it. You've already received it.”
45s
“And if we're not careful, this is how we can live our life, trying to earn the love of the father that has already been given to you in Jesus Christ. For some of you, like, that's that's resonating your bones right now. If that's you, as we get ready for a time of response, here's the response: Do nothing. Yeah, you heard me right. Do nothing. Stop what you're doing and receive the love of the father that you already have. God,”
36s
“``God when God sees you, He sees the blood of His Son Jesus. You've been made right and whole and pure and holy. You've been redeemed and bought with a price. That's what Christ sees. That's what God sees when He sees you. So you don't fight for it. That's the Gospel. You're not trying to become loved. You are loved. You're not trying to become accepted. You are accepted. You're not trying to earn approval. Christ already secured the approval. You're not trying to win.”
