30s
“It's not morbid at all to me. It's just living in reality. I wanna know the things that the Bible says about life and death. And guess what? The Lord says a whole lot about both. He really does. Because death for a Christian isn't really death at all, is it? It's just a doorway that you go through to the other side and then you learn what it's like to really live.”

“Now, by the way, don't put off trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ just because you think that you're young and you don't have to worry about these things. Tell that to Job's 10 children. Tell that to David's best bud Jonathan who died early in battle. Tell that to Samson who is likely in the prime of his life. Tell that to the two high school classmates I lost in my teen years to car accidents. No. Don't put off till tomorrow what you sense you should do today.”

“But if any of those things come, then you know the question is that's on my mind? Am I ready to meet my Jesus? That's the only important question I can find. Am I ready to meet my Jesus? None of the others are important to me. Yes. I'm worried about my wife, Lord. Who's gonna take care of my wife? Lord, who's gonna help my grandchildren if if something the worst happened? Lord, who's the next pastor for CBC? Those kinds of thoughts go through my mind. But the one as to am I ready to meet Jesus? I've got a firm answer for that one because I am. I am.”
