A better world, as God envisions it, is not a place of uniform sameness but of beautiful diversity held together in unity. This unity is only possible under the authority of Jesus Christ. He is the one who sees the complete picture and knows the way forward. When He is at the top, we are freed from the need to make everyone like us and can instead learn to love God, love ourselves, and love each other in our differences. This is the cornerstone of the beloved community. [57:56]
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28, ESV)
Reflection: In your relationships, especially with those who are different from you, where do you find it most challenging to embrace unity under Christ’s authority? What is one practical step you can take this week to move toward that unity in love?
The blueprint for a restored world is not found in a complex set of rules, but in the simple, profound command to love. All the commandments are ultimately summed up in loving your neighbor as yourself. This divine love does no harm and seeks the good of others. It is the active, powerful force that fulfills God’s intention for human relationships and paves the way for healing and reconciliation in our families and communities. [01:00:58]
Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments… are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. (Romans 13:8-10, ESV)
Reflection: Consider your closest relationships. In what specific, tangible way can you actively demonstrate “love that does no harm” to your neighbor, your family member, or a coworker this week?
Before you did anything right or wrong, you were chosen and loved by God. Through Jesus, you are not a distant servant but an accepted child, placed “in the Beloved.” All the love the Father has for Jesus, He has for you. Your life, with all its mistakes, is hidden with Christ in God. This profound identity as a beloved son or daughter is the truth that defeats the enemy’s lies and empowers you to live in freedom. [01:15:20]
…he chose us in him before the foundation of the world… In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ… to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. (Ephesians 1:4-6, ESV)
Reflection: What lie about your identity or worthiness do you most often struggle to believe, and how does the truth that you are “accepted in the Beloved” directly confront that lie?
Changing laws cannot change hearts. God’s solution for a broken world is the personal transformation that comes through discipleship. It involves more than a one-time decision or baptism; it is the ongoing process of being taught to obey everything Jesus commanded. This is how we learn to live by the Word and the Spirit instead of by our flesh, ensuring our actions align with God’s heart of love. [01:23:58]
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19-20a, ESV)
Reflection: Where in your own life do you see a gap between knowing God’s Word and actually living it out? What is one area where you sense the Holy Spirit inviting you into deeper obedience?
Being a disciple means being an imperfect person who is following Jesus and learning. This journey requires development, which often involves sacrifice. We must allow God to develop our character so that our zeal is tempered by His love and our actions reflect His heart. Without this development, we risk acting in destructive ways, even while claiming to serve God. True change comes from a heart transformed over time. [01:27:25]
And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, “Lord, do you want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?” But he turned and rebuked them. And they went on to another village. (Luke 9:54-56, ESV)
Reflection: Can you identify a situation where your initial reaction was to confront or condemn, but a more developed Christ-like character would respond with patience and love? What sacrifice is needed to pursue that kind of character development?
Worship begins with thanksgiving and focused prayer for marriages and families, followed by invitations to a marriage seminar and a wives’ reconciliation service. Scripture reading from Matthew 28 frames the day: all authority rests with Jesus and the mandate to make disciples commands action—baptizing and teaching obedience. The beloved community appears as the organizing vision: unity amid diversity under Jesus’ authority, where different people live together in love rather than uniformity. Galatians 3:28 models that unity, and Ephesians 1 anchors identity in being chosen and adopted before the world began; believers stand accepted in the Beloved and inherit spiritual blessing through union with Christ.
Love becomes the practical ethic. Romans 13 reframes the law: love of neighbor fulfills the commandments and does no harm. Peace and joy exist as inner resources; individuals face a choice to let Christ’s peace rule instead of succumbing to fear, strife, and confusion. The devil’s strategy relies on division and stirring hearts, but victory already stands secured through Christ, so courage must rise to resist cultural agitation and remain faithful to the Word.
Discipleship forms the central solution. Making disciples goes deeper than legislating behavior; it targets the heart. Baptism without teaching leaves people vulnerable to fleshly patterns, and cultural sins reappear when the Word does not renew minds. A disciple appears as an imperfect person who follows Jesus, learns to live by Scripture, and develops fruitfulness in character and calling. Development requires sacrifice: attendance, prayer, fasting, and steady formation so zeal does not turn into destructive action in the name of righteousness.
Jesus functions as the chief cornerstone who models sonship and sacrificial love; his life and death open adoption and hide sins in Christ. Personal transformation plus multiplication of disciples creates sustainable societal change—laws cannot substitute for renewed hearts. The movement advances through teaching, baptism, and intentional formation that produces believers who embody love, stand courageously in divided times, and carry the kingdom into homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods. An open invitation closes the gathering: commitment to follow Jesus, learn the Word, and become fruitful in character and calling begins the process of transforming the world.
And listen, this is how Christians you you ask, how how could Christians support slavery? This is how Christians could support slavery because if you don't live by the word, you're gonna live by the flesh. You ask, well, how how could Christians support abortion? This this is how a Christian could support abortion because if you don't live by the word, you're gonna live by the flesh. You you may ask, well, how how could how could a how could Christians support support support greed and and and imperialism and colonialism? How could a Christian support racism? How how could if you don't learn how to live by the word, you're gonna live by the flesh.

God, listen, there are so many people that are feeling like god doesn't love me. That's what's happening right now. There are people all over there that feel like the god doesn't love me. God is nobody loves me. Nobody wants me. I've gotta just fight for myself. Fight for myself and and so everybody's fighting for themselves but when we start to realize how much he loves us and when they start to realize how much they that god loves them, then we can lay our weapons down. God's message is that you are beloved. He loves you. He wants you. He cares for you. He sent Jesus to bring you this message.

When you gave your life to Jesus or when you do give your life to Jesus, god sees you in Jesus. So, all the love that he has for Jesus, he has for you. Because you are in him. It's like if if you were Jesus' liver or you were Jesus' lung. Anything that's in him is loved and you are in him. So, he didn't put you beside him. He didn't put you beneath him. He didn't put you above. He put you in him so that the same way that the father loves him, he loves you.

A disciple is an imperfect person. Watch this, who's following Jesus, learning to live by the word, and becoming fruitful in character and calling. Yeah. Now, before you run out, before you run out and you you go to, you're going to change the world. Listen, let me let me just say something before you run out to the street. Becoming fruitful in character and calling means you have to be developed. That's right. You don't just get baptized. You're gonna have, Jesus has to develop you because all of us have sinned. All of us have a sin mindset. He's got to change us so he develops our character.

I was saying to the lord, what what would a better world look like? What what is it that you want? What is your will for our world? What would that look like? And and so that's when he started working with me with this theme, the beloved, the beloved community. It would look like a community. It would look like a family. It would look like a united people

You know what that said to me? That's to me that that said, I got a choice. Come on. Yeah. With everything that's going on and everybody who's who's who's mad and and and strife, I've got a choice. I can let not my heart be troubled. Or I can let my heart be troubled. I can get in on the game like everybody else or I can choose not to let my heart be afraid. I can choose not to let strife into my life so that I don't have confusion and every evil work

You know, it's possible to be a Christian, to be in church, and be baptized and not be taught. It it's possible to be a Christian. Listen, it's possible to be a Christian and be baptized and not be taught. In other words, it's possible to be baptized and not be and not learn how to live by the word and listen listen. Here's what happens. When you have Christians who don't learn how to live by the word, then they live, they continue to live by the flesh. Did you understand? If we don't learn, you can be baptized. Yeah. You can shout, hey. But if you don't learn to live by the word, you will continue to live by the flesh.

Those of you who are here in the auditorium, if you're not sure that you're saved, if you if you haven't given your life to Jesus, if you've never made the decision that you're gonna follow him, that you're gonna learn to live by the word, that you're going to become fruitful in character and calling. If you never made that decision, I want to invite you. Become part of the movement. I want to invite you to get saved and make Jesus the lord of your life.
