Every believer is called and commanded to make Jesus known wherever they are—in their families, workplaces, and communities. This is not a suggestion but a divine responsibility given to us by Christ Himself. When we lift up Jesus, He draws all people to Himself, and we fulfill the Great Commission. Our lives, words, and actions should all point others to Jesus, shining His light in a world that desperately needs Him. Let us remember that making Jesus known is not just an activity but our very identity as followers of Christ. [32:12]
John 12:32 (NKJV)
"And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself."
Reflection: In what specific area of your daily life do you sense God prompting you to be more intentional about making Jesus known, and what practical step can you take this week to respond to that prompting?
We are not left to our own strength to make Jesus known; God has given us the Holy Spirit to empower us. The Spirit gives us boldness, wisdom, and the ability to be effective witnesses for Christ. When we rely on the Holy Spirit, we find courage to speak about Jesus even when it feels difficult or intimidating. The Spirit’s power enables us to shine as lights in the darkness, and to be witnesses who reflect Christ’s love and truth wherever we go. [41:29]
Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Reflection: When have you sensed the Holy Spirit prompting you to share your faith, and how might you invite His boldness and wisdom into your conversations this week?
Declaring the name and works of Jesus is not just about evangelism—it brings glory to God and causes His kingdom to grow. As we proclaim Jesus, heaven rejoices, hell trembles, and God is honored. Our lives become lighthouses, shining in the darkness and drawing others to the hope found in Christ. Every act of kindness, every testimony, and every mention of Jesus’ name is an act of worship that magnifies God and advances His purposes on earth. [35:27]
Psalm 96:3 (NKJV)
"Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples."
Reflection: How can you intentionally declare God’s glory in your interactions this week, and what might it look like for your life to be a “lighthouse” in your community?
When we share Jesus with others, transformation happens—not only in their lives but in ours as well. People are saved, addictions are broken, families are restored, and hope is revived. At the same time, our own faith grows, our boldness increases, and we experience spiritual freshness and joy. Like a river that stays fresh by flowing, we remain spiritually vibrant when we keep sharing Christ. God blesses our obedience, and we become channels of His love and power to a world in need. [44:07]
Philemon 1:6 (NKJV)
"That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus."
Reflection: In what ways have you experienced personal growth or blessing as a result of sharing your faith, and how might you step out again to experience God’s transforming work in and through you?
The world is filled with loneliness, fear, confusion, and hopelessness, but when we make Jesus known, we bring light and hope to dark places. Even a small act of encouragement or a simple testimony can be the candle that someone desperately needs in their darkness. We are called to be destiny helpers, offering compassion and support to those around us, and letting our words and actions sow seeds of hope. As we do this, we reflect the heart of Christ and become instruments of healing and restoration in our generation. [51:06]
Isaiah 12:4 (NKJV)
"And in that day you will say: 'Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted.'"
Reflection: Who in your life might need a word of encouragement or a reminder of hope, and how can you be intentional this week to be a “candle” in their darkness?
I continued our focus on Making Jesus Known from John 12:32—“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” This is our mandate, not a suggestion. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) to do it, and we do it both by our lives and our words. When we lift Jesus, the Father is glorified (John 15:8), heaven rejoices, hell trembles, and the kingdom advances. A lighthouse doesn’t argue with darkness; it simply shines. That’s our call—shine by naming Jesus openly and living in a way that reflects Him.
I pressed into practical ways to shine: practice consistent kindness, let your character preach louder than your words, and demonstrate love, patience, and integrity. Making Jesus known transforms others—and it also transforms you. Philemon 1:6 reminds us that sharing our faith makes every good thing in us effective. As we witness, we grow in boldness, joy, spiritual discernment, and even experience miracles. Daniel 12:3 says the wise will shine; Proverbs 11:30 calls those who win souls wise. Like a river that keeps flowing, we stay spiritually fresh when we keep giving Jesus away.
This world is hurting—loneliness, depression, fear, addiction, rejection. Be the person who brings encouragement. During a blackout, one candle becomes priceless; your testimony might be that one candle for someone in darkness. Don’t wait for perfect conditions—step toward people with compassion. Be a destiny helper; God will take care of you as you care for others. Use social media as a mission field—your life is a letter being read.
This is identity, not a side project. You are chosen, royal, holy, sent (1 Peter 2:9). A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Live for Jesus publicly and others will be drawn to the light. Evangelism is not just what you say; it is who you are. So we prayed: “Lord, fill me with fresh fire. Open doors of divine conversations. Let signs and wonders follow my witness. Break fear and hesitation.” We sealed it at the Lord’s Table, and I gave a weekly plan: pray for boldness, encourage someone you’ve not spoken to in a while, share your testimony, post Jesus-centered content, fast one meal and pray for souls, invite someone to church, and pray for a stranger. This December, let’s make Jesus known—consistently, joyfully, boldly.
