66s
“``By the way, that's all you need to know. And parents, you'd be do good to say that. Why do I have to do this? Because it's right. Now that's not gonna satisfy them. But they need to know you're under authority. This is not my order. I have to answer to God. If you don't let them understand the chain of command, they believe you're working out of your own authority. And if you're working out of your own authority, then they feel like they have the option to reject it. The answer is not because I said so. The answer is because God said so. He's the captain of the host. I'm just following orders. You got a problem? Get your Bible out. Get on your knees and talk it over with the captain. Amen.”
52s
“God says when there isn't a father, I'll step in. You do your part mom. You do your part maybe grandma, but whether it's not a father, I'll step in. And maybe that person that God's gonna use is gonna be a grandfather. Or maybe it's gonna be someone in the church who sees the need and then as the church of Jesus Christ, Paul saw the need here. Timothy needs a dad. I'll be that dad.”
61s
“They had everything except courage. We recall David and Goliath. The troops of Israel were hiding in the trenches. They'd have a pep rally every day, but when Goliath came out, they'd hide. And David comes out and says, what are you doing? You're the army of the living God. They all had spears. They all had shields. They all had swords, but they had no courage because they probably didn't have courage in the face of temptation. They didn't have courage in the face of assimilation. They didn't have courage in the day of persecution. They couldn't take a stand for Christ. Everything was outward. Nothing was inward.”
40s
“There's that word grace again. There is grace that flows through the chain of command. When the father is under the captain of the host and the mother is under the father, the grace of God flows unhindered. So that when our young people grow up, they grow up strong in the grace and that becomes an ornament to their head and chains about their neck. It will beautify their life. It will increase the value of their life.”
