#HearMyVoice
“``And you notice that what Jesus says he's addressing this whole letter to a church but then at the end he says, If anyone hears my voice. If anyone hears my voice. It's a letter that's addressed to the church but the invitation is to the individual. The invitation is to you today it's not just to this church or the church of America or the global church right now, the invitation is always to us individually to our heart. That's the only way that change happens. It has to happen first within us.”

#LetJesusIn
“Maybe he's knocking on a specific room in your heart, a specific quadrant of your heart that you have closed off. Jesus is knocking. Would you let me in there? That place that your defense mechanisms and everything in your life because of the hurt, because of the wounds, because of the all of the whatever you've closed off to me. I'm knocking on that door today. Would you let me in? Would you let me in? I wanna heal you. I wanna make you whole. Would you respond to my voice? Respond to my voice. What does it mean to respond? What does it mean to open the door? Well, he says it says he says to turn. Just simply turn. Repent.”

#NoMoreLukewarm
“Lukewarmness really is a lack of commitment. It's a lack of commitment. It is self centeredness. The lukewarm person has just enough of the world to sort of satisfy their flesh But then just enough of Jesus to sort of satisfy their spirit. Deep down I believe this, that there's no one more miserable than the lukewarm Christian. Because you have too much of the world to be truly happy, truly satisfied in Jesus and you have just enough of Jesus to know that you will never be truly happy or satisfied in the world. So you're left in limbo.”

#ConvictionNotCondemnation
“And so I'm closing today with this and again this is not condemnation but this is a message that for some of us, and we may not feel that we're at the same place as these Laodiceans but maybe there's something that the Lord is speaking to us today or maybe we just know that we are. Lord that is this is exactly what I needed to hear God and I know this is your love that is speaking to me. This is not condemnation. There's a difference between condemnation that comes from the enemy and conviction that comes from the Holy Spirit.”

#ConvictionLeadsToChange
“Condemnation is meant for you to get stuck in your shame and get you stuck to the point where not only do you not want to change but man you just go deeper deeper deeper into this. That's what condemnation does. Conviction, see it could be mistaken sometimes. And because the Lord is bringing conviction into our heart we shun it because we just don't want to feel that and we don't, we think that it's condemnation but God is saying no no no this is conviction. Conviction comes from God, it's from the Holy Spirit and instead of getting you to stay stuck it's actually, it's cheering you on to change and to repent and to just turn to him, to respond to his word.”

#ProtectYourFire
“Let me break that down. Spiritually now let me break it down. But did you understand that? It's the perfect temperature because we are 98 degrees right? So the perfect temperature where we can expel some of the heat from our body without feeling cold while doing it. We don't feel the cold it's the perfect temperature for us to let some of the heat go but we feel no chill, no cold. So spiritually speaking the reason why being lukewarm is so dangerous is because of this, because the fire of God is leaving you or has left you but you're not cold enough and you don't care enough to do anything about it. You're blind to it. Spiritually blind to it. The fire is leaving you. The passion, the zeal for God is going. It's going. It's going. you're not cold enough to realize it.”

#AppearancesDeceive
“The danger of being distant but close enough. The danger of having the appearance but something different happening in your heart. Judas was close enough to Jesus that he was considered a disciple of Jesus. He had the appearance of a true follower of Christ to the core. He had the appearance. In second Timothy you know what the word of God teaches us about the last days? It says this, that in the last days there will be those that have the appearance of godliness but lack the power thereof. And then it says this, stay away from those people. Stay away from them.”

#LukewarmIsDangerous
“It's as simple as that because that is the reality. That's why in Revelation three here we see this that these people became so dependent on their self, so full of compromise, so far, so distant from the source of water. They were neither hot nor cold. They were lukewarm and lukewarm is useless. It's useless and I'm gonna add this in a second here, lukewarm is dangerous. Dangerous. It's in the stagnant water, it's in the lukewarm water where the disease begins to grow. I'm gonna and we're gonna see that in a second man. The lukewarm person is the most dangerous person.”
