#LoveYourEnemies
“Loving your enemies, that's not natural. Loving your friends? Oh, sure. Those who you you just are close to and treat you well? Yeah. Love comes naturally. But loving your enemies. Your enemy is someone who doesn't love you. Your enemy is someone who's against you. And so those are dynamics that don't naturally evoke natural love. The only hope would be the supernatural love that Christ calls us to. Yes. He says, love your enemy.”

#AdoptedByGod
“When we're saved, we're reconciled to God so thoroughly that he becomes our father. We're adopted into his family, and his spirit enters into us. And so there's a sense in which just as an earthly child resembles their father, we may say you're a chip off the old block. So we should resemble our heavenly father because his spirit is within us. Friends, when you're saved, you've got a new dynamic within, capacity to love that you never had back before God's holy spirit entered into us.”
