Bible ReadingRomans 12:1-2, 9-21 (ESV)> 1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

Observation Questions- According to Romans 12, what does it mean to present our bodies as a “living sacrifice” to God?
- What are some of the specific instructions Paul gives about how to treat those who mistreat or oppose us?

- In the body of Christ, every member is important. Do you know what your unique gift or role is? If not, how can you begin to discover and use it? If you do, how can you encourage someone else in their gift? [[21:59]]
- Paul says to “overcome evil with good.” Can you think of a specific person or situation where you are tempted to respond with anger or payback? What would it look like to respond with kindness or goodness instead? [[09:33]]
- The sermon talks about living at peace with others as much as possible. Is there a relationship in your life that needs peace right now? What is one thing you can do this week to move toward reconciliation or peace? [[32:21]]
- Jesus prayed for those who crucified Him and trusted God with His pain. Is there someone you need to forgive or pray for, even if they haven’t changed? How can Jesus’ example help you take that step? [[38:41]]
