#SurrenderNotSelf
“Our world seems to be obsessed with self discovery, self care, and self made success. We're constantly chasing the next mind shift, productivity hack, or guru promising the next way to find happiness. All the while, identity issues are on the rise, like, who am I? What's my purpose? Big question, am I good enough? So let's consider this. What if what we long for doesn't come from unlocking something within, but from surrendering to the one who actually made us?”

#RedemptionThroughJesus
“But God, in his mercy and in his grace, made a way for that relationship to be restored. The bible, as our friends at the bible project call it, is a unified telling of that redemption story that leads to Jesus. Moses' story is a part of that story. Our story is a part of that story. See, through Jesus, we have access to all that God the father had planned for us in creation.”

#IdentityFromCreator
“But here's the tension. Just because we have freedom to make choices in our life doesn't mean we have the freedom to define our identity. God created humankind in his image to be in relationship with him. Unfortunately, Adam and Eve's decision to do things their own way instead of in God's best for them, that's a thing we also call sin, separated us from that relationship with him.”

#IdentityInChrist
“See, through Jesus, we have access to all that God the father had planned for us in creation. We have unconditional love, peace that passes all understanding and hope for eternity. In the here and now. And maybe that's why so many of us feel lost a lot of the time. We've been trying to figure out who we are before we set we've settled whose we are. That sweet spot is our big idea.”
