#CostlyGrace
“And so it came at a cost. And the question we have to ask is how can something that cost God so much be so cheap to us at times? Because when we take the grace of Jesus and we live the way we wanna live independently of God, it's called practical atheism. You call Jesus savior, but you live as if he doesn't exist. That's putting this grace to open shame. Jesus didn't die on the cross and pay this price for us to live the way we wanted to live. He did this so that we could live the way God wants us to live.”

#PaidInFull
“But that's not all. The cup also proclaims his blood. His blood was poured out every single drop poured out to satisfy the the the little judgment of God. The term is propitiation. Everybody say propitiation. It means satisfaction. Jesus' death satisfied God's wrath on sin. As our the writer of Hebrews says it this way, without the shedding of blood, there can be no forgiveness of sin. So together, the bread and the cup, they proclaim that salvation has been purchased. It is finished. There's nothing else that needed. And when we, by faith, receive God's grace, our debt is paid in full. There is no more there is no remaining balance. The debt the debt of your sin has been fully satisfied at the cross. And this is the message we're proclaiming when we partake of communion.”

#LiveOnMission
“You are a missionary. And this church it's not the love boat, it's a battleship. And this is a mission outpost. And when we conclude our service today, every one of you, when you walk out, we should have tattooed on these above the doors. You are now entering the mission field because that's where you're going. The question is, will you take your mission fields serious?”

#GospelOfTheCross
“Second thing that we do, we're proclaiming the message of salvation. See, Paul doesn't simply say that we proclaim the Lord. He says, we proclaim the Lord's death. Now this might seem a little a little unusual. Why would Christianity center on the message of an execution? Why would the church constantly return to the cross? It's because the cross, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ stands at the heart of the gospel, the good news. And so after all, without the cross, there can be no forgiveness of sin. Without the cross, there can be no reconciliation with God. There is no salvation apart from his gracious sacrifice.”
