#RestoredIdentity
“The moment you turn, you don't have to clean up. You don't gotta wait. You gotta do all this. The moment you turn, God is there, and he wants to embrace you. He gets his robe. He puts it around you. He's restoring your dignity. He's forgiving your sin. He's covering your shame. Yes. Then he says this, and get the ring, the signet ring with the family crest because this is my son. He wanted to come back as a servant, as a slave, but no, no, no, no, no. This is my son. Put this ring on his finger. I'm restoring his identity right now.”

#FatherEmbrace
“The sun turns and runs back to the father. The father runs and meets him. The sun is not cleaned up, the son is filthy, the son is just smelling like sin. The father doesn't say, go clean up, go take a shower. No, the father embraces him just as he is. God's not afraid of your sin. God's not afraid of what you've done. He just wants to impress you. And he says, get the robe, my robe, and put it around. Let me put this robe around you, son. He's restoring his son's dignity. He's covering his sin. He's covering his shame. This is forgiveness. This is the father's heart for you.”

#CoveredInGrace
“You have a father who loves you more than you could ever imagine. Thank you, Lord. Like I said, maybe maybe you don't know your earthly father or maybe he was not a great example or whatever it is, but you have a heavenly father who will never let you down, will never leave you, has been with you, has been watching and waiting and protecting you all of this time. That's the only reason why you're still here right now. There is a robe that is waiting for you. I would say, son, daughter, I want to cover you today. I want to cover your shame. I want to cover your guilt. I want to completely forgive you of your sins.”

#AccessThroughChrist
“Once a year on this Jewish day called Yom Kippur, the high priest would enter into the holy of holies and make a sacrifice for the atonement of sins for the people. Once a year. Now when Jesus comes as father, that changes. The very use of the word father implies access. Access made by and through Jesus. Remember, last breath of Jesus on the cross. It is finished. The veil that we just talked about, the separation is torn in half. We now have access to the father because of what Jesus did.”

#FromSlaveryToSonship
“The spirit of slavery, the spirit of adoption. These two different spirits have two different mindsets in how we approach God. The spirit of slavery views God as slave owner, master, and views people as fearful, trembling slaves. The spirit of adoption which Jesus ushers in views God as this loving father and views us as beloved sons and daughters.”

#HeirsOfPromise
“Now that God is father, this means that for us, we carry his name, his namesake, and we belong to him. And because you belong to him, all the rights and privileges of being a son, a daughter, an heir, Heirs in pursuit. All of the privileges, all of the rights. His protection is yours. His provision is yours. His promises are yours because you are an heir of God's glory. Because he is your father. He's your father.”

#ComeSitAtHisFeet
“You have the right now to come into his presence. Every day, every day, there is this open invitation from the father to come and sit at his feet. And it's just not an invitation. He is calling. He is longing for you to come.”

#SealedInHim
“And I know that that is hard for some of you to receive because maybe of the relationship or lack thereof of your earthly father. And on the flip side, maybe some of you had amazing fathers. And so maybe we've kinda taken this fatherhood from the Lord for granted a little bit. But he's your father, and your identity is sealed in him now. You are a child of the living God. Man, you should hold up your head high knowing that.”
