#WalkAsJesusWalked
“``I used to think that not taking the Lord's name in vain meant not saying o m g as an expletive. And I I still don't like it. But I've come to realize there's a more important take on the third commandment. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God is probably easier for us to understand than don't take the Lord's name in vain. It doesn't mean saying a curse word when you stub your toe. It means claiming to represent God while acting in a way that betrays his character. It's not about vocabulary. It's about hypocrisy. If you're going to wear the name of Christ, be careful how you represent both in public and in private. In other words, whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus walked.”

#WrestleWithPrayer
“Rather than a beginner's nursery rhyme prayer, this is a prayer to wrestle with. This prayer will revolutionize your Christian walk you let it. It will challenge you, it will stretch you, and it will make you downright uncomfortable. It did me. Until you surrender to it and allow it to transform We're going to walk through this prayer line by line and see if we can't uncover some of its treasures.”

#PrayWithMeaning
“Considering the almost universal knowledge of the Lord's prayer, it's amazing how many people can just rattle it off without ever thinking about what they're actually saying. I close almost every funeral I preach with the Lord's prayer. And whether they're church attenders or not, people will just boldly speak out, the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. They didn't get that in the first service either. You really need this sermon because that is not the Lord's prayer. This prayer is so well known that many evangelicals treat it with something like disdain because they have it filed under beginners prayers. Sort of a now I lay me down to sleep status, which proves they do not fathom the deep faith and life changing potential of this prayer.”

#30DayPrayerChallenge
“If you're up for an adventure, or even if you're not up for an adventure, but you're just stubborn enough, you can't turn down a dare. If you want to be stirred up, challenged, stretched in your Christian walk, I challenge you to pray the Lord's prayer with me for the next thirty days. Not just recite it, but pray it from your heart. Pray it from your spirit. And let God change you from the inside Pray it for thirty days and see what God does in your life.”
