#LovePeopleOverPractice
“``Only got one application for you today. Love people more than you love practices. You probably could have guessed that before I ever got there. Love people more than you love practices. I started here and this is where we're gonna end. It's easy for us two thousand years later to look at the Pharisees and go, what? I don't get it. But I think if we were completely honest, we do the exact same thing sometimes. We're more interested in practice than we are people.”

#FaithNotSchedules
“I want you to think about this. Church times when I mean church times like 10:00, 11:00, They're not going to heaven. see nowhere in the Bible that when they get to heaven, it's like, what time was your worship service? Oh, 11:00 people you're over there. Saturday night people? Oh, the few of you are over here. Church times aren't going to heaven. Worship styles, whether you like this or not, worship styles aren't going to heaven. Religious practices are not going to heaven. Matter of fact, Jesus tells us that there's gonna be a bunch of people, a bunch of good church people that are gonna think they belong in heaven because of their practices. And he's gonna look at them and go, yeah, but you didn't know me.”

#NoNeutralGround
“I mean, the Bible tells us that to refuse to do good is evil. We as people like to make everything grayscale. We like to think that, you know, if I if this is good and this is evil that we can place somewhere here in the middle. But no. It's not. We're either doing good or we're doing evil. That is our only two choices. We're either sinning or we're not sinning. That's our only two choices. The Bible tells us that if we're not doing good, we are doing evil. There's no neutral ground.”

#MercyReflectsFaith
“We we can put it another way and say a merciful spirit is a sign of having received mercy. An unmerciful spirit is one that hasn't experienced that. How can I declare and say, I am a follower of Jesus Christ if I don't care about people? Jesus cared enough to die for people. Therefore, it is important to me or should be to care for people. Furthermore, if you've experienced the love, the grace, the mercy of Jesus, how can you not want someone to experience it?”
