#MakeWaitingCount
“Don't waste your waiting. And while you're waiting for God to work in your life, God may want to work through your life because he might be using you to change someone else. I found this amazing about our God. While I feel feel like I'm operating at a 2% clip rate or a 10% clip rate, my 10% worship because I'm not feeling all together that time, blesses somebody in the 80 percentile. Are you hearing me today? I showed up not wanting to come to church, running on four hours of sleep, going to church, not feeling confident in God on the church. Can I get an amen on this? God blesses your 2%, your 1%, your 5%. This is incredible.”

#JesusDefeatsFear
“And because this one thing I thought, Jesus is lord, guess what happens? Guess what happens when Jesus is lord? Fear isn't. When Jesus is lord, fear isn't. That's not my future. When Jesus is lord, I'm getting maximum effort on all these circumstances I'm going through, these aren't it. Jesus is Lord. My anxiety that's plaguing me isn't. My my past that keeps knocking on my door and the people around town that keep reminding me of who I am, that isn't it. Jesus is Lord. Jesus is lord and you fill in the blank. So David starts by saying, the lord is truth. God answers by saying, come, get this relationship with me. Stay close to me. David says, I'm gonna wait for you when I don't know what tomorrow holds.”

#WaitOnTheLord
“And when we go through stuff, what do we want? Relief. God, move it. God, take it. God, get this thing off of me. We want God to move, but that isn't it. God wants us to wait and here is the hardest part of this sermon. Waiting, you'll have to reframe it is this active trust in God. It's because who you're waiting on, not you're waiting on the miracle. I'm waiting on God. David says, wait for the Lord. Wait for the Lord. For you, what does waiting look like?”

#TruthBeforeFeelings
“David doesn't start with, I'm in a cave, I'm hungry, I haven't had a haircut, this is ridiculous, this is how I feel God. He starts with, here's who God is. Now, isn't this powerful? God is my light. We get theology before psychology. We get truth before feelings. God before me. And if you've ever noticed in your own life and in my life, your emotions make terrible interpreters, don't they? Man, can we just have a moment here today? Where have your emotions taken you recently?”
