“But the ministry of the new covenant is the ministry that brings righteousness. That's the the corresponding language. Brings righteousness. That's what I need. The old covenant, the giving of the law shows me I need a righteousness that I don't have. But the ministry of the new covenant in Jesus Christ, Jesus said, this is the blood of the new covenant which is poured out for you for the forgiveness of sins. he bled and died for us to give us a righteousness that we don't have. A righteousness from God that then becomes ours through faith in Jesus. then he guides us in the process of transformation in which have a more righteous life, not to earn forgiveness. That is given. That's given to us. They imputed the given righteousness of Jesus is given to us because of what he's done on the cross. But the righteous lived out by us is because of a work of God in our spirit.”

“What kind of freedom? Freedom for what? We say, well, freedom versus bondage. Freedom versus the idea of of of if there if we just have instructions and this is how you must live and and this is what God has said, and you don't have empowerment and you you find yourself in condemnation because of these instructions. Well, the the law is is is like bondage, and we need freedom. Yes. Yes. But there's also freedom like the removing of a veil. Removing of a veil means that you're free to what? To see, to behold, to gaze at. There's not that thing that's that's obscuring. That's not the thing that's that's hiding. You have freedom to see, freedom to behold, to behold glory.”

“The spirit gives life. That's what's happening in the new covenant. The spirit of God, God's doing something that would be as impossible as dry bones becoming living creatures without the spirit. If if God's spirit does not move in the new covenant, you have no hope. But because of Jesus, through Jesus, God's doing something and he Paul rightly calls it the new covenant of the spirit. The letter kills, but the spirit gives life.”
