The scriptures remind us that our works will be tested by fire, revealing the true quality of our deeds. It's not the quantity of our actions that matters, but the quality and the heart behind them. We must constantly examine our motives, ensuring that they are aligned with the glory of God rather than seeking personal reputation or validation from others. [00:00:29]

The temptation to justify ourselves before others is a characteristic of the Pharisees, which we must avoid. Instead, we should strive to live before God's face, seeking His approval above all else. This requires a deep reverence for God, recognizing that His forgiveness is not a license to sin but a call to live in awe and respect of His righteousness. [00:04:32]

Our salvation is to be worked out with fear and trembling, acknowledging our own weaknesses and the unconscious sins that reside within us. The fear of the Lord is not about being afraid of God but having a reverence that we might not hurt Him. This reverence leads to wisdom and a transformation where our actions become a natural outflow of our new nature in Christ. [00:06:18]

As we grow spiritually, our motives should become more aligned with God's will, and our actions should reflect His love and kindness spontaneously. We are reminded of the importance of forgiveness, not as a duty but as a natural response to the forgiveness we have received from God. [00:10:23]

Our journey is about moving from crawling to running, where our nature is transformed to reflect Christ more fully. This transformation is a process, and we must be patient with ourselves, allowing the Holy Spirit to work within us. [00:12:54]

The fear of God is a reverence for God, a tremendous reverence that I never want to do anything with a motive to impress people. Because I've discovered one thing, you know, through the years we all start as I said, we all start like children, stumbling and falling, not knowing how to walk. [00:14:37]

In the beginning, we do things to impress people and we say things to impress people and all that, but gradually we come out of that crawling stage and begin to walk, and one day you can run where you're not seeking to please anybody, you're only seeking to please God. [00:17:44]

Dear brothers and sisters, work towards that. Work towards the day where you will run, and you're not bothered one bit what anybody thinks about you because your life has become so clear before God. Your motive is 100% to glorify God and to seek nothing for yourself. [00:18:32]

Our spiritual growth involves daily taking up the cross, denying ourselves, and allowing Christ's nature to increase within us. This transformation is gradual, moving from conscious effort to spontaneous action. [00:21:21]

Forgiveness should become a natural part of our character, not something we do out of obligation. As we experience God's forgiveness, we are called to extend the same grace to others, reflecting His love in our relationships. [00:23:44]

Reverence for God is the beginning of wisdom. It's the ABC of wisdom. You want to study science, learn the ABC first. You want to study history, learn ABC first. You want to study geography, study ABC first. You want to study any subject in the world, start with ABC. [00:26:22]

Reverence for God and forgive others, and let that increase more and more and more in the days to come. Have low thoughts about yourself. Don't ever think that you're such a great guy and you know everything. We know very little. [00:32:41]
