#MetAtTheWell
“God meets us where we are thirsty. Thirsty for companionship, thirsty for peace in our hearts, thirsty for reassurance that our lives have mattered, thirsty to be known. God meets us in ordinary places at wells in the middle of the day with our complicated stories and histories. And God offers us living water and says to us, you are known. God often begins with a conversation. In this story, transformation doesn't come from a sermon or a miracle. It starts with a simple human request. Give me something to drink.”

#SeenAndKnown
“Most of us can probably look back at our lives and remember moments like this, moments when a deep thirst was met, when anxiety eased, when hope appeared where we did not expect it. Perhaps it was a conversation that arrived at just the right time. Perhaps someone saw us more clearly than we saw ourselves. Perhaps we realized suddenly and quietly that God had been sitting beside us all along. Where have we gotten water from the rock? Where has living water begun to bubble up in our lives? Where is God sending us out to invite others to come and see?”
