But the reality, church, is that if you are truly a servant of the king, you actually take delight in accomplishing his will. It becomes a joy to surrender and submit yourself to do what he's called you to do. And then when he comes and says, hey, you've been so faithful, I'm going to give you more. Your heart is simply, yes, whatever you want me to do, God, here I am, right? [01:09:57] (23 seconds)  #JoyfulServanthood

Now, many times, it'll feel like swimming upstream. It's going to feel that way. It's going to require sacrifice, a sacrifice of your time, maybe a sacrifice of your resources. And people, people may reject you. But it will always, always be worth it to stand before God when he comes back. And to hear him say, well done, good and faithful servant. [01:10:56] (30 seconds)  #FaithfulSacrifice

When Jesus returns, there will be no acceptable excuse if we are unfaithful to his call. There will be no acceptable excuse if we're unfaithful to the call and the purposes that he placed on my life. [01:13:23] (21 seconds)  #NoExcuses

See, we want Jesus to revolve around our schedule, and our life, and our priorities. But he says, no, you need to let your life, and your priorities, and your time revolve around me. He calls us to reorder our lives so that we can be faithful to serve him. [01:13:58] (20 seconds)  #LifeReordered

If he's calling you to do something, he's already gone before you. Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10 says that God has created us anew in Christ Jesus to do good works that he has prepared in advance for us to do. He has went before you and prepared the work for you that you may simply walk in it. [01:16:43] (22 seconds)  #PreparedForGoodWorks

The question I want us to consider, the question I want you to consider today is this. How will God's kingdom grow because of your commitment to Jesus? Do you ever just stop and think about that? At the end of your life, there's going to be a tombstone. It's going to say when you were born. It's going to say when you died. And then there's a little dash in the middle that represents your life. It represents what you did with your life and it represents what God did through you in this life. [01:21:37] (40 seconds)  #KingdomLegacy
