#RestInChrist
“It's not that we do the work first hoping that our nature has changed. Even if you think about salvation, salvation happens because your nature has changed. Your heart has been transformed, and because of that, your work is completely different. It is not doing and doing and doing and hoping that, like, oh, if I do, then my nature changes. It's first starting off with, hey, I am in Christ. I've been purchased. I've been bought with the blood. Like, that is my identity, and I can rest in that. And because I can rest in that, now I can do the work that god has called us to do. Right?”

#NoCondemnation
“If you're in Christ, you're a new creation. The old is gone, the new is here. Live in light of that. It's not about earning. It's not about striving for God's approval. You have already been approved by God. You've already been approved by God. Nothing you do changes that if you're truly in Christ. Nothing you do changes that. God looks at... Even on your most sinful wicked day, God the father still looks at you as if he's looking at the righteousness of Christ with a smile on his face.”

#ChurchFamily
“So so live in view of who you are in Christ, that we are a holy priesthood, that we belong to each other. That means that we love each other and we pour into each other and we encourage each other and we forgive each other and we admonish each other. Right? Because this is our belonging. We we no longer belong to the world. We are no longer in the household of the devil, but we have been transferred out of that household into the household of God.”

#NewCreation
“But the nature of the church is that we've been brought out of darkness, we've been brought out of death, and we've been brought into the marvelous light that we've been resurrected, that we no longer walk according to the passions of our flesh and our mind, but that we have been raised into new life. So there is a new nature that we have”

#JustifiedByFaith
“So a few weeks ago, I taught on justification. Like, this is the beauty of what justification is, is that you were honored because now the father sees you as if he's looking at Christ. He sees you with the righteousness of Jesus, and there's honor in that. But for those who don't put their faith in Christ, there's shame, There's condemnation because they're not trusting in the work of Jesus. They're trusting in their own merit. They're trusting in their own works. They're trusting in their own righteousness. And in doing so, they have rejected the perfect standard and work of Jesus on the cross.”

#ChristOurCornerstone
“And so we're called to live in the fullness of Christ. We're called to live in the abundance of Christ. And so as we think about what it means to be part of the church, it means that the father has sent the son into the world, and he is the cornerstone, and we are all living stones contingent upon the cornerstone. That this whole royal priesthood, chosen nation, holy... Like, that does not exist apart from Christ. That all continges upon the work of Jesus because he is the cornerstone.”

#ChosenAndHoly
“if Christ has saved me, and now I know that I'm a son of God, that I've been chosen, I'm a priest. Right? Like, Christ elevates us. He elevates our nature that we're his special possession. That means I I live according to that. I live according to holiness, and I live according to royalty, and I live according to having been chosen because that's who I am. Right? That's who you guys are.”

#IdentityBelongingPurpose
“That means, yeah, you don't have to you don't have to read the bible every day and go to church every Sunday to be a Christian. But if you say you're a Christian, that is indicative of who and what you belong to. That means that there is a people that you belong to. Does that make sense? Because that is who you are in Christ, that is your identity. And so if you have an identity, you have a belonging. If you have a belonging, you have a purpose.”
