#GarbageInGarbageOut
“It's an old programming phrase. I don't even know if they use it anymore. Programming first became a thing. There was this phrase, right? The phrase is giggo. Garbage in, garbage out. If all you're putting into you is garbage, all you're going to get out of you is garbage. So how do I change that? Change it with scripture. Change it with worship. I change it with decisions. I change it with my words. Put positive in. What do I listen to? What do I see? What do I hear? Does anyone know people that watch the news all the time? They're on the twenty four hour news cycle thing? Well, that's depressing. Well, gotta stay informed. Not really. You gotta stay transformed.”

#ThinkTransformed
“If you could just get the fly to think different like an effortlessly fly to freedom, but the fly, you can't. It won't turn away. You can see freedom. So strategy for success, try harder. That's us by the way. And this is actually what Paul's not telling us. In fact, he's telling us to do this differently. He is not saying try harder to be pleasing to God. He said because God has given you everything that is pleasing to him, live this way. Even if that's not what you like. Even if it's not what you want. Even if it's not what your flesh desires. Even if it's not popular in your culture. And how do you do that? You gotta learn how to think differently.”

#RespondWithGratitude
“And then a rescuer jumps in and they pull you out. Maybe, right, you took in a little bit of extra water and they do the thing, the CPR thing. We'll say they breathe life into you. That's fun, right? That sounds biblical doesn't it? And they bring you back safely to shore. How would you respond if someone rescued like that? Would you, do you think you'd respond with indifference? Do think you'd be angry with them? Or maybe, maybe you'd respond with some gratitude, some appreciation, maybe some devotion. Right? Maybe you get back to shore and the person is like, hey you know what? There's something you could do for me. Was going to call an Uber but maybe you could give me a ride home. You'd probably give them a ride home. I mean it seems reasonable they just saved your life.”

#LivingSacrificeDaily
“Your time your entire life. Why? Because, look, because being conformed to the world will actually take you away from God. And unlike like sacrifices in the old testament, right, what he's telling us to do is live sacrificially all the time. Don't come and bring a sacrifice. Be the sacrifice. The problem with this actually Charles Spurgeon actually said, he said the problem with being a living sacrifice is that we keep on crawling off the altar. Right? But the bible is like crucify your flesh daily. Well how do I do that? This is actually what verse two is telling me. How do I do that? How do I everyday live for God? Well first of all I consider the mercies of God and I can't be like the world.”
