Day 1: Buried with Christ, raised to walk impilo entsha

In Christ, your journey begins with a funeral—the old you is buried, and a new creation rises with Him, so that you may “walk” (live, experience, be occupied with) the newness of life; today, reject the temptation to see salvation as cosmetic behavior change, and instead agree with God’s verdict: the past has been buried with Jesus and you are free to experience this higher life now. [10:29]

Romans 6:3-5
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Reflection: What is one label, habit, or secret from your old life that still tries to define you—how will you “bury” it today (for example, write it down, tear it up, and then choose one concrete action that reflects your new identity in Christ when you face it again)?

Day 2: Eternal life is in the Son alone

“Whoever has the Son has life”—not religion, titles, or good behavior; cultivate awareness (oida) that this Zoe life is already yours in Christ, and let assurance rise: you are not trying to get life, you have received life because you have the Son. [46:22]

1 John 5:11-13
And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.

Reflection: Set three alarms today (morning, midday, evening); each time, speak aloud 1 John 5:12–13 with your name (“I, [Name], have the Son; therefore I have life”), and note how this assurance reshapes one fear you are facing right now.

Day 3: Jesus gives Zoe—life from another realm

Zoe is God’s own life, superior to bios (natural) and psyche (soul-life), the “equipment” that enables you to do business with God’s realm; don’t settle for a scented version of the old life—receive and practice Zoe by engaging God in prayer, obedience, and bold faith where your natural resources run out. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Reflection: Identify one area where you’ve been operating only in bios/psyche (e.g., finances, health, conflict); take 10 focused minutes to invite Jesus’ Zoe life into it, then take one faith-action you would not attempt without His life (e.g., pray for a sick colleague, give generously, initiate reconciliation).

Day 4: The Spirit empowers life beyond human limits

Zoe is a Spirit-sponsored life—“not by might, nor by power,” but by the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead and now gives life to your mortal body; trade self-reliance for dependence on uMoya oNgcwele and expect Him to stretch your possibilities beyond your means. [39:49]

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Reflection: Before each major decision today, pause for one full minute to ask, “Holy Spirit, how do You want me to proceed?”—write down the impression you sense and obey it in a specific step before the hour ends.

Day 5: Zoe life is unstoppable—God of Breakthroughs

The God who broke through for David (Baal-perazim) reveals the nature of Zoe—unstoppable, uncontainable, not limited by tombs, walls, or rooms; refuse to be detained by past ceilings and walk at large in Christ, expecting the Lord of Breakthroughs to make a way. [43:09]

2 Samuel 5:20
And David came to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there. And he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me like a breaking flood.” Therefore the name of that place is called Baal-perazim.

Reflection: Name one “blocked place” in your life (a debt, addiction, broken relationship, stagnant dream); pray 2 Samuel 5:20 over it by name and take one decisive, practical step that aligns with breakthrough today (send the application, make the apology call, ask for help, enroll in the program).

Sermon Summary

Romans 6:3-5 and 1 John 5:11-12 opened a window for us into what God has truly given: not religion, but life—His own life—in His Son. When we believe, a real process begins in the Spirit. The old self dies and is buried with Christ; a “funeral” happens that disconnects us from the chains that used to hold us. We are raised with Him to walk in the newness of life. That word “walk” is not casual; it means to experience, to live free and “at large,” to move as proof of ability, and to be fully occupied with this new life. God invites us to a higher life.

This newness is not cosmetic change. It’s not tweaking behavior or switching vocabulary and dress code. The Scriptures speak of a different kind of life—Zoe, the God-kind of life. Humans know Bios (biological life) and Psuche (soul-life), and these are real and useful in the natural realm. But Zoe equips us for the realm where God’s kingdom operates. Just as you need special equipment to live under water, you need Zoe to truly do business with God’s realm.

Jesus did not come to hand us a label; He came to impart life. He lived on earth tapping into Zoe—walking above the limits of Bios and Psuche—stilling storms, walking on water, rising from the dead. Zoe is eternal and unstoppable. It stretches possibilities beyond family histories and personal capacities, because it is Spirit-sponsored: not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit. The same Spirit who raised Jesus will give life even to our mortal bodies. This is why we can call God “the Master of Breakthroughs”—His life cannot be contained.

Whoever has the Son has life. I urged us not merely to learn about Zoe, but to become aware (oida) that in Christ we already have it—and then to walk in it. This is an invitation to leave a life limited to Bios and Psuche and to live the life of the age to come now. Some responded to receive the Son and were led in faith to that burial and rising. Others responded to step out of self-sponsored living into Spirit-sponsored life. May we be occupied with this Zoe, free and undetained, as proof that Christ truly lives in us.
