1. "I don't know about you, but for me, this has been a year filled with a lot of challenges. Anybody with me? It's been a challenging year for you, too. Yeah, I know a lot of you guys, it's been a challenge. And maybe you feel like, man, I'm ready for 24 to be over with already. Can 25 get here? And so whether you suffered defeats or celebrated victories this past year, both serve as teachers in life because they bring us back to the heart of Jesus. They remind us of his love and his care for us. And so regardless of how this year has been for you, we can be blessed and benefit from the mistakes, from the failures, from the hurts, from the disappointments, and from the victories and the things that we celebrated as well. All of it God can use for his glory. Can I get an amen?" ([00:01:06] (43 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

2. "We've got victory in Jesus that doesn't hinge on the outcome of an election. We've got victory today that doesn't hinge on the outcome of our sickness. We've got victory today that doesn't hinge on the outcome of our financial situation. Come on. Our victory isn't bound by our circumstances, but our victory runs much, much deeper than that. Come on. Are you with me? We have victory today. And so with that in mind, today we're beginning a new series about what the Apostle Paul called the overwhelming victory that's ours in Christ Jesus. It's not just victory. It's overwhelming victory. It's a victory that's secure no matter what may come." ([00:02:50] (37 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

3. "Because there is going to be an unrighteous opposition to every righteous thing that God wants to do. There is going to be pushback. And you need to be prepared for that. So many times we go into the plans and promises of God as if there's going to be no friction, no resistance, no pushback. And it's just going to be a tiptoe through the tulips. And I'm here today to tell you that nothing could be further from the truth. And so while we walk with a victorious mindset, we understand that's needed because we're about to step into a battle." 4. "And sometimes we can be so intelligent in our own eyes, so wise in our own eyes, we think we've got it figured out. But God, hear me, God calls us to do some illogical things. And if you can't step into the illogical, you're probably never going to see the miraculous come to pass in your life. God's not going to be able to use you to bring radical breakthrough, to break down strongholds in your family, in your community, in your workplace, if you're not willing to step into the illogical, because that is the place of faith where God operates. Amen?" ([00:13:15] (32 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

5. "See, victory isn't found in striving. It's achieved by surrendering to God. Surrendering what? Our thoughts to his thoughts, right? Understanding that his ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. I don't have to wrap my puny little brain around his truth and his promises and his plans to trust that it is better than whatever I could come up with. It just is. We surrender our will to his will. We surrender our ways to his ways. And that is the place where victory is found. It's found in the place of surrender." 6. "What you surrender to, what you fully put your trust in, is what will ultimately determine your level of victory, right? Because you're going to put your trust in something. You're going to put your faith in something, and whatever it is that you're putting your faith in, that's going to determine the level of your victory. And here's what I love about this. You can always control the level of your surrender, and that means you've got a lot more control over your victory than you might think." 7. "So God's word, it's our manual for successful living. Not just in the good times, but man, it's there in the bad times too. We've got to trust his word that it's going to point us in the direction that we need to go. Because here's the thing. We as believers, we aren't the people who never fall down. No, we're the people who always bounce back. We're the people who always get back up. Amen? You will fall. You will stumble. But you don't have to stay there." 8. "Victory looks like never giving up. Because the only way you can lose is if you quit. The grace of the Lord Jesus is with us. And so we can't lose as long as we trust him that his grace is sufficient for us in our times of weakness. That's what grace was made for. It was made for our weakness. It wasn't made for our strength. It wasn't made for our perfection. It was made for us because he knew that we will fall short at times. And his grace will more than make up the difference. Amen?" 9. "There's a purpose, a plan, a race that God has called you to run. And he has equipped you for it, and he's positioned you for it. And you're the only one who can run that race that God has mapped out just for you. And you weren't meant to stay stagnant. You weren't meant to tread, water, or just maintain status quo. Listen, for some of y 'all, you've been walking with the Lord for decades, but you haven't grown in a long, long time. You've stayed stagnant, stuck in that place of growth where you thought, man, I've gotten to the place where I needed to get to." ([00:33:12] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

10. "Victory isn't determined by what happens to us. Victory is decided by where we place our focus. Because a lot of us, man, we think that I can't have victory because of that loss. I can't have victory because of that disappointment. I can't have victory because of this pain. I can't have victory because of that loss. I can't have victory because of the pain that I'm carrying. This disappointment that I'm carrying, it is a heavy weight that has us convinced that we can't run the race all the way to the finish and have victory because we're so weighed down by this."
