Day 1: Grace Is God’s Unmerited Favor Overflowing in Every Area
Grace is not just a spiritual buzzword; it is the unmerited favor of God that touches every aspect of your life. You may find yourself living in blessings you never earned, walking through doors you never opened, and receiving resources you never expected. This is not because of your own wisdom or strength, but because God, in His love, showers you with goodness you could never deserve. When you recognize that grace is the reason for every good thing in your life, gratitude and humility naturally overflow. Let your heart be filled with awe as you realize you are a recipient of God’s amazing grace, and let that awareness shape your attitude and actions each day. [08:20]
2 Corinthians 8:6-7 (ESV) Accordingly, we urged Titus that as he had started, so he should complete among you this act of grace. But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you—see that you excel in this act of grace also.
Reflection: Where in your life do you see evidence of God’s unearned favor, and how can you express gratitude for it today?
Day 2: Abounding in Faith—Trusting God Beyond What You Can See
Faith is more than believing in what is visible; it is trusting God’s heart when you cannot see His hand at work. True faith is activated when you are at the end of your own strength, when circumstances seem impossible, and yet you choose to believe God’s promises. Faith is a magnet for God’s presence, and it is in those moments of weakness and uncertainty that His strength is made perfect. As you walk by faith, you may need to speak and act in ways that defy your natural understanding, but this is where God delights to move. Let your faith abound, not just in words, but in your daily walk, trusting that God is working even when you cannot see it. [15:03]
Hebrews 11:1,6 (ESV) Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Reflection: What is one area of your life where you need to trust God even though you cannot see the outcome, and how can you take a step of faith today?
Day 3: Let Grace Transform Your Knowledge and Perspective
Knowing God is not just about feelings or experiences; it is about growing in knowledge through His Word. When you seek to understand who God is and what He has promised, your perspective on life’s challenges changes. God does not change, but He uses His Word to change you—shaping your thoughts, attitudes, and responses. Even when your circumstances remain the same, God can give you the grace to endure and the wisdom to see things from His perspective. Let your pursuit of knowledge be rooted in Scripture, and allow God to transform you from the inside out as you stand on His unchanging truth. [19:07]
Malachi 3:6 (ESV) “For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.”
Reflection: How can you intentionally seek God’s perspective through His Word in a situation you are facing right now?
Day 4: Diligence and Earnestness—Staying Committed to God’s Call
Abounding in grace means being diligent and earnest in your commitments, not half-hearted or inconsistent. Whether it is a calling, a mission, or a promise you have made, God calls you to pursue it with discipline and sincerity. This kind of diligence is not about striving in your own strength, but about responding to the work of grace that God has already started in you. Even when the journey is long or the task is difficult, God’s grace empowers you to stay the course. Let your commitment be marked by earnestness, knowing that God honors those who persevere with a sincere heart. [21:16]
Colossians 3:23-24 (ESV) Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
Reflection: What is one commitment or calling you need to renew your diligence in today, and what practical step can you take to pursue it earnestly?
Day 5: Love—The Foundation and Overflow of Grace
At the heart of all spiritual growth and every act of grace is love—first for God, and then for others. Everything you do, every sacrifice you make, and every gift you give should flow from a deep love for the Lord, who loved you first. It is because of His love that you have received grace, and it is His love that compels you to love others in return. Let love be the foundation of your actions, the motivation behind your generosity, and the mark of your fellowship. As you experience God’s love afresh, let it overflow into every relationship and every area of your life. [22:43]
1 John 4:19 (ESV) We love because he first loved us.
Reflection: Who is one person you can intentionally show God’s love to today, and what specific action can you take to express that love?
Sermon Summary
When you walk with God, supernatural favor becomes a reality in your life. God’s grace is not just a concept, but a living, active force that overflows into every area—your resources, your relationships, your opportunities, and your very identity. We are reminded that everything we have is not truly ours; the earth and all its fullness belong to the Lord. Our role is to respond to God’s grace, not out of obligation or demand, but from a heart that recognizes how much we have received undeservedly.
Paul’s teaching to the Corinthians, as he bridges chapters 8 and 9 of 2 Corinthians, reveals that grace is not limited to financial giving. It is a holistic transformation that touches every part of our lives. The Macedonian church was commended not because they gave out of abundance, but because they gave beyond their means, motivated by grace. Paul urges the Corinthians—and us—not to see giving or serving as a burden, but as a joyful response to the work of grace that God has already begun in us.
Grace is unmerited favor. It is the reason we find ourselves in places we never imagined, receiving blessings we could never have earned. It is not about our cleverness or our plans, but about God’s sovereign goodness. When we look back over our lives, we see that we are recipients of grace—living in homes we didn’t build, working jobs we weren’t qualified for, and experiencing provision that defies explanation.
Paul outlines what a life abounding in grace looks like: it is marked by faith, by teaching and speaking truth, by knowledge of God’s word, by diligence and earnestness, and above all, by love. Faith is trusting God when we cannot see the outcome. Teaching and utterance mean that our words align with our beliefs, and we do not waver in the face of negativity. Knowledge grounds us in God’s unchanging character, and diligence keeps us committed to the journey. But the foundation of it all is love—love for God, which overflows into love for others. This is the true evidence of grace at work.
Key Takeaways
1. Grace is the foundation of supernatural favor, not something we can earn or manufacture. When God’s grace is on your life, it overflows into every area, providing resources, opportunities, and blessings that defy human explanation. Recognizing this keeps us humble and grateful, knowing that all we have is a gift from God. [02:35]
2. True grace is not just about financial giving, but about a transformed heart that responds to needs without ulterior motives. When grace is active, we give, serve, and connect with others out of genuine love, not obligation or manipulation. This kind of generosity is a sign that God’s work has truly begun in us. [03:44]
3. Faith is the environment where God dwells and moves. It is not about what we can accomplish in our own strength, but about trusting God when we cannot see the way forward. Faith is activated most powerfully when we are at the end of our own resources, and it draws God’s presence and provision into our lives. [15:03]
4. Knowledge of God and His word is essential for a life of grace. Feelings and experiences are important, but they must be anchored in the truth of Scripture. God does not change, but He uses His word to change us, giving us new perspectives and the grace to endure and overcome. [19:07]
5. Love is the ultimate evidence of grace at work. All our faith, teaching, knowledge, and diligence are empty without love for God and for others. It is God’s love for us—demonstrated while we were still sinners—that empowers us to love in return, making grace visible and tangible in our lives and communities. [22:26]
2 Corinthians 8:1-7 — (Paul commends the Macedonian church for giving beyond their means, and urges the Corinthians to abound in faith, speech, knowledge, earnestness, and love.) - 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly… God loves a cheerful giver… God is able to make all grace abound to you…”) - Romans 5:8 (“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”)

Sermon Clips
When you walk with God, that God will grant you supernatural favor. There's there's no doubt that we are seeing the move of God. And many of us see it every day, but we don't have the microphone. We don't put it out. But you ought to always share about the goodness of God because I said it before that when you have the grace of God on your life. Yes. Whatever comes out of you is an overflow. [00:12:33]
I'm convinced that when God have you and you're committed to him. Yes. Everything else is an overflow of that. Amen. God wants us, he wants us more than he want what we have because we really do not have anything. We settled the principle last week that we really owns nothing. Uh for the earth is the Lord's. Hear me tonight. fullness of God and the fullness thereof and the world the Bible said and they that dwell therein. [02:31:24]
I do believe when the grace of God upon your Right. If there's a need, you try to respond to it. I want to be part of it and you're not burdened to do it. So what Paul was doing, he was teaching and Paul turns from them in chapter eight. He was dealing with the Macedonia. He was bragging on them. He was telling them about that how impressed he was that how they gave what they could and beyond. [03:49:29]
There's a grace that has started. And many of you that are listening, some of you are not part of blessed on your church. Some of you are listening in on us and you are being challen. We're not asking you. There's no demand. But there's a grace. If there's a grace on your life, and this ministry is a blessing to you in any form of faction, we want you to come apart. Not so much of a demand on you. [06:08:09]
Grace ought to affect your checkbook. Yes. Grace ought to affect your pocketbook. Grace ought to affect your bank account. Yes. Because to be honest with you, I stand here tonight to know that I don't deserve anything. I I I don't I don't I couldn't explain the resources that God have allowed to flow my way. I can't I don't deserve it. It's not because I'm so smart. It's not because I'm so brilliant. [07:30:52]
Grace is that unmmerited that un that that unmmerited favor from God. That mean that God is showering you with stuff uh with with with love, joy, resources that you did not do anything to require of yourself. I said it before as I was teaching publicly uh and I was saying that we talked about people falling from grace. You can't fall from grace. [08:20:00]
Many of you tonight that are listening to me, you live in houses that you didn't build. Yes. Yes. You reap stuff that you didn't harvest. Yes. What I'm trying to tell you, you are a recipient of grace. Now, you you have jobs that you're not even qualified for. other was qualified because when God put you in a position of grace, say, "Pastor, when God put you chosen, when you've been chosen of God, when the grace of God is on your life, chosen, you don't know what it is, but when you walk in doors that you don't know how you got there, you don't know what to call it." [09:11:52]
Whenever that you receive his grace, unexpected resource, yes, that you know you did not deserve, as a matter of fact, you have totally forgot and it shows up. Yes. That's grace. It's grace. And so what Paul is telling them, I teach this tonight. He says, listen, uh God started something in the Corinthian church. He started in Macedonia. Now you said something in Corinthian and now Titus is going to come to make sure that the grace that God has started in you is going to finish and that's one line. [09:55:04]
Therefore as ye abound in everything I just told you grace don't cover one portion of my life Yeah. I don't have grace over here, but I don't have no grace over there. If grace is on me, it's on me, is in every It's on me in every area every life. Yes. Because God does all things well. Well, hear me tonight, beloved. I know you're listening to me. You don't understand this grace thing because you have been so caught up in the buzz words and these the these religious words that you hear in church and in teaching and people never take time to really talk to you and put it at your kitchen table. [11:01:01]
Grace look like that when you think over your life and when you look back God tell me what have you done to deserve to have everything that you have now? is it's amazing grace. So so that and that's what it is. So what Paul says these are things that makes up this healthy fellowship. He said that's why he said now in verse seven therefore as ye abound. What does abound mean that I succeed? Yes. Abounding I excel in everything. [11:45:08]
Even when it look like I'm losing, I win. I still win. Even when I go through the storm of life, the bottom line is I win in every every It may not look like it, but the natural man does not receive the things that are the spirit of God. They are foolish unto him, and neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. Amen. I win in everything I abound. [12:44:56]
Only one thing God requires of you is faith. You trust in everything God said, I I want some people if you want to please God because that's the only place where God dwells. I had to learn that we we thank God. But the only place that God dwell is where faith is. If there's no faith, God is not there. If there's no if if you don't believe that he is, he cannot reward those that diligently seek him. [14:51:39]
Don't change your mind in the dark what you believe God has shown you in the light. Amen. And that's that's about so we got to teach that. We got to talk that. We got to teach that. But then Paul says this here in verse seven, I'm still in verse seven. I'm going to get in further. Verse seven tonight. I already feel it. And knowledge. Yes. I'm abounding in knowledge. Let me tell you, how do you know God? God is not just a feeling. [18:14:88]
When I know it, I start confessing it because God is bound by his word. Yes. If he said it, he's not going to change it. No, he's not going to change it. The Bible say he's sworn by this. Yes. He changed not to change it now. And I I like that. I like what you say that he change not. Isn't that amazing? Man may change. Did you know that? But God God change not. [19:16:68]
And even when he do not change your situation, let me tell you what he does. He'll change you and your perspective on it. and Bishop here give you the grace to go through it and the grace to go through the change because until he start changing you didn't understand the grace that was allowing you in Jesus name so what Paul says in knowledge but then Paul says and also here it is in verse number seven in in and in diligently what diligence mean is that in earnest there's no thickness in it you You're you're committed to it [20:32:64]
Paul's saying that listen, the key to it all, and this is what I want to deal with tonight. Everything I've said, all the teaching since I've launched this Catholic campaign, hear me tonight, saints of God. Everything I've said comes down to one thing is love. What love? Love who? Love the Lord. I want you to love me, but love the Lord. And you should love me. Yes. But it should flow from your love for God. Yes. [22:20:00]
