"Christian, if we don't think through our lives and the decisions that we make, even in the gray areas of life, we could be setting ourselves up for disaster. And so I want to challenge you today as we close out this section together on Christian freedom to ask some of these hard questions about our own freedom and how we're living it out day by day so that we can be a better world." [00:09:53] (21 seconds)

"Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question on the ground of conscience. For the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. If one of the unbelievers invites you to dinner and you are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you without raising any question on the ground of conscience. Let's stop there." [00:14:52] (18 seconds)

"For the Apostle Paul, the conscience is so important that even if it is wrong, not sinning, but even if it is saying something that is not sinful in and of itself for you to avoid, you should listen to it. Because the conscience is the place where the Holy Spirit speaks to us through. It's a place in our mind. And our heart that guides us in our daily decisions." [00:17:39] (31 seconds)

"And so even if it's a matter not of sin, but your conscience is telling you don't, listen to your conscience. Because if you don't listen, you can sear and hurt your conscience so that when your conscience then speaks on matters of sin and righteousness, it's easier for you to refuse your conscience there." [00:18:09] (21 seconds)
