#MaturingInChrist
“``Friends, a a a mature Christian is not somebody who who feels like they've made it. A mature Christian is someone who knows that they'll never make it until Jesus comes. And so they await that day, and so this pause is a time for them to be filled with faith. God is perfecting me. His presence is assuring me of this. Not because I have great spiritual experiences, though those aren't bad, but mainly because he continues to reveal sin in my life that I can repent of, and get right with him, and be freed of of of addictions or or freed of false thinking in my life. God is so faithful. He's so good that he's not gonna let you be just meh. We're not we don't serve a god of meh, do we? He's in it for the long haul.”

#ChurchForTheLost
“What's our current pause for? What's this another question I hope to answer this morning? This pause in between Jesus' first and second coming, what's what's known as the church age. The church is here for a reason. Jesus has not come back yet. There's people out there that don't know he's coming back, who don't believe, who are are going to hell. If they don't hear about Jesus, if they don't trust him. That's why we are here. I've loved a description I've heard in the past of the church. It's really the only, it's really the only thing around that is in, exists for the sake of its nonmembers. We're not here for ourselves. Yes, we're here to grow and and and, yes, be fed, but we're here for the sake of those who don't know Jesus.”

#SayingOkayGod
“Why in the world would God take this gifted communicator that's full of the Holy Spirit that has affected so many people's lives with his words and say, You're going to lose that. Every single day. And every single day, Jeff and Cheryl, just one degree or another, they say, Okay. And they move on. Each time we hear about another instance of this, may we go on and we say, by faith, okay, God. So maybe that's what your pause is for, that you need to learn how to say, okay, God.”

#JusticeIsAtHand
“And if you remember back in Revelation six, the saints who did were martyred for Jesus, were martyred in the name of Jesus and died. Here's what they said. They said, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood? How long? Throughout the Psalms, we see that. Job himself, in the book of Job, asks that, How long? Maybe you've muttered this or yelled this at times to the Lord when life doesn't seem fair. So as we're anticipating the final trumpet here, what does the angel say? The mystery of God will be fulfilled in the days. If you notice that word days, alright, it's not just a single day, it's a it's a time frame. Okay? The last trumpet will sound and and a lot is gonna happen. We don't know how long that'll take. But in those days, the mystery of God will be fulfilled. Again, blessed assurance that we have that justice is at hand.”
