In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance—are not products of our efforts but the natural outcome of a life surrendered to the Holy Spirit. Just as a tree naturally bears fruit, a life filled with the Spirit will naturally exhibit these qualities.
