I meet a lot of people that are rich I got a lot of people that know a lot of people with a lot of possessions but how many people do you know that are really living fulfilling lives lives that are just man just just full I mean that's that's why Jesus came too I mean the Bible says Jesus says I have come that you can have life that you may have life and have it to the full. [00:02:04]

Be very careful then how you live not as unwise but as wise making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil okay the first phrase he says is be very careful how you live I thought about that phrase and I thought am I really careful about how I live I mean this morning even was I really careful when I woke up. [00:03:21]

The Bible makes a distinction between Having the Holy Spirit in your life and actually being filled with the Holy Spirit living a life where you're under the control of the holy spirit because really that's how you live a fulfilled life is when you allow the Holy Spirit to control your life and to live through you. [00:02:34]

Make the most of every opportunity the word in the Greek is literally Ransom it's to Ransom something or to redeem something and it's this picture of the days the time just doesn't really belong to us it's kind of like running away from us and we need to Ransom it and capture it and make the most of it to use it properly. [00:04:21]

If you live a fulfilling life you don't ask where did the time go because you know where it went and you're glad about where it went and you realize where you spent the time you lived wisely and you go I'm glad I invested that year in those people in that thing see fulfillment was that day at the park. [00:10:06]

Understand what the Lord's will is live a life that is wise think through what would God want me to do with my time with this precious commodity I've got be wise think through what does he want me to do and start doing those things because you're going to f face him you're going to face him soon and and you're going to give an account for your time. [00:11:42]

He wants us to be so filled with the holy spirit that you can't come face to face with the person for 30 seconds without him knowing that God's just flowing right out of you he say you be so filled with God's spirit that everyone can see it in every action just like a drunk person can't hide his actions. [00:16:20]

It's an ongoing command something you got to keep doing it's just like if I got drunk right now if I got drunk right now and then I stopped drinking tomorrow I'd be sober okay if I wanted to stay drunk that would take some effort okay I got to just keep it going and that's the idea here. [00:17:58]

Speaking to one another with Psalms hymns and spiritual songs sing and make music in your heart to the lord always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ submit to one another out of reverence for Christ see you can't see this you can't you can't see this in the English. [00:18:51]

You want to live a Spirit-filled life then in your conversations you're going to need to speak to one another about your praises to God would you say that describes your conversation with god I mean with other people would you say yeah that's that's typically what I do you know get together with my my friends I I tell them about what God's doing in my life. [00:21:04]

Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ two key words I want you to see always and everything always giving thanks to God for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ does that describe you are you a person that's always giving thanks for everything. [00:25:34]

The Bible says a Spirit-filled person is a person who's living in harmony with these other people and that that he is serving these people that he's submitting to them out of a fear of the Lord I can't say that I'm worshiping God if I'm not serving my wife because the Bible says in that very same passage husbands love wives as Christ loved the church.
