Every miracle Jesus performed was not just a display of power, but a revelation of the Father's heart—compassionate, generous, powerful, and present. Through each act, Jesus made the Father known, inviting us to see beyond the miracle itself to the One who works them. The miracles were never about performance, but about partnership with the Father's will, drawing people into deeper relationship and understanding of God’s nature. As we reflect on the miracles, let us remember that they are signposts pointing us to Jesus, the true miracle worker, and to the purpose of making the Father known in our lives and to those around us. [01:18:21]
John 14:9-10 (ESV)
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.”
Reflection: In what area of your life do you need to look beyond the need for a miracle and instead seek to know the heart of the Miracle Worker more deeply today?
Jesus Christ is unchanging—His power and compassion are as real now as they were in Galilee. The same Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus now dwells within every believer, continuing the ministry of healing, provision, and deliverance. The miracle worker has not retired; He has relocated to walk beside and within us, revealing the Father through our lives. As you go about your day, remember that the same Jesus who performed miracles then is present and active now, ready to work in and through you. [01:20:28]
Hebrews 13:8 (ESV)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Reflection: Where in your daily routine can you invite Jesus to work through you, believing that His miraculous power is available right now?
Time and again, the miracles of Jesus required an act of faith and obedience—whether it was filling jars with water, stepping out of a boat, or simply trusting His word. Belief in Jesus leads to obedience, and obedience releases the supernatural. When we trust in the Lord with all our hearts and act on His word, we make room for His power to be revealed in our midst. Even when circumstances seem impossible, God honors faith that steps out and obeys, often in ways that surprise and bless us beyond expectation. [01:23:33]
Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Reflection: What is one step of obedience God is prompting you to take today, even if it feels risky or uncertain?
The ministry of Jesus continues through His church—through you and me. We are called not just to remember stories of miracles, but to live as vessels through whom God’s power and love are revealed. Every act of compassion, every prayer of faith, is an opportunity for heaven to touch earth. Jesus promised that those who believe in Him would do the works He did, and even greater. The call is to live each day expecting the supernatural, allowing the Father’s heart to be revealed through our lives to everyone around us. [01:30:26]
John 14:12 (ESV)
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.”
Reflection: Who is one person you can pray for or serve today, believing that God wants to reveal His love and power through you?
It is not enough to know God as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, or to hear stories of Jesus from others. Each of us is called to know Him personally, to make Him “my God” and to experience His presence and power in our own lives. When we move from distant knowledge to personal relationship, we become connected with the miracle maker Himself, and our faith becomes alive and active. Let your story be added to the testimony of God’s faithfulness, as you walk with Him and see His hand at work in your life today. [01:36:16]
Psalm 63:1 (ESV)
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Reflection: How can you intentionally move from knowing about God to truly knowing Him as your God today—what will you do differently to seek Him personally?
Today, we gathered to celebrate the ongoing reality of Jesus as the miracle worker—yesterday, today, and forever. Reflecting on the many miracles Jesus performed, from turning water into wine to raising the dead, we see not just demonstrations of power, but revelations of God’s heart, His compassion, and His desire for relationship with us. Each miracle was an invitation to know the Father more deeply, to trust Him, and to step into a life marked by faith and obedience.
The miracles of Jesus are not just stories from the past; they are a living testimony that the same Jesus is at work today. His power has not diminished, and His call remains: “Follow me. Trust me. Walk with me.” The Holy Spirit, who empowered Jesus, now dwells in every believer, equipping us to carry the miraculous into our everyday lives. We are not just observers of God’s work—we are participants, called to reveal the Father’s heart to the world around us.
Miracles often follow belief and obedience. Time and again, Jesus called people to act in faith—whether it was filling jars with water, stepping out of a boat, or simply trusting His word. When we respond in faith, we make room for God’s power to be revealed. Even in our own lives, as we trust God’s provision and step out in obedience, we see His faithfulness and care, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.
Now, the responsibility and privilege of carrying the miraculous rests with the Church—with each of us. Jesus continues His ministry through His people, calling us to live with an expectation of the supernatural, to pray bold prayers, and to act in faith. The stories of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob remind us that it’s not enough to know about God through others; we must know Him personally, as “my God,” and allow His power to work through us.
Let us break the stronghold of doubt and unbelief, and step into the fullness of what God has for us. The miracles of Jesus are not just history—they are an ongoing revelation of the Father’s love and power, meant to be experienced and shared today. As we go, may we live with expectation, speak the name of Jesus over every situation, and become vessels through which His miraculous power flows.

John 20:30-31 (ESV) — > Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
John 14:9-12 (ESV) — > Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? ... Through every miracle, the same, the heartbeat of God has been revealed. He's a God who restores and provides and directs and forgives and brings the fullness of life into your life, to all those that listen to his voice and obey his word. Through each story, though different, together they proclaim one message. Jesus revealed the Father. The miracle was never just about power, but for certain, I can say it was about relationship. So the miracles weren't about performance, but partnership with the Father's will. So in the midst of this learning, we don't just, while we go after miraculous, we don't just in and of itself pursue the miracles. We pursue the miracle worker. The miracle worker. We pursue the miracle worker. And we know Jesus, and we know the Father, and through our lives, others can too. [01:18:38] (55 seconds) #PartnershipNotPerformance
Miracles follow belief and obedience. Jesus said that these miracles were written that you may believe. And belief in Jesus leads to obedience, and obedience released the supernatural. Time and time again, through the miracles that we looked at, it required something, in many cases, a recipient of the miracle to do. [01:22:39] (35 seconds) #BeliefLeadsToMiracles
Obedience is an activation of faith. And when we trust and obey in his word, we make room for the Father's power and the revelation of the Father to be seen in our midst. [01:24:43] (20 seconds) #ObedienceActivatesFaith

Our call to action is that we would live expecting the supernatural, the miraculous from Cana to Calvary, from empty tomb right into today, the story has never changed. Jesus still is about revealing the father. From the wedding feast to the wilderness he met people in their lack and turned it into abundance. He brought peace where there was fear and he brought life where there was death. [01:38:08] (54 seconds) #LiveExpectingSupernaturalMiracles
From the first disciples to this very generation, he is still healing, he is still saving and he's still setting the captives free. Amen. That's my God, that's your God. From the first disciples to the very now, same God, same purpose.
