“``I say this with a lot of love, a lot of respect. Guys, nap time's over. as the text says, it is high time to awake sleep. It's time for us to wake up and redeem the time that we have left as godly men who embrace not avoid our calling as husbands, fathers, and disciples. And here's the reality, men. A vigilant watch enables us to live seriously for Jesus in light of his return. It's time for us to get serious about living for king Jesus. However, I wanna draw your attention to another action that enables us to live seriously for Jesus in light of his return. Not only is there the watching, we notice in the second part of verse number 12 and through 13, there's the walking. We notice that walking virtuously enables us to live seriously for Jesus in light of his return.”

“Here's the reality. I hope it is your prayer and your desire as well that when he comes, he may find us what? Faithful. Faithful in our callings as husbands. Faithful in our callings as fathers. Faithful in our calling disciples. So, it is as the text says, high time for us to embrace our calling from God to be spiritual leaders. To be leaders in our home, to love our wives as Christ loved the church, and to prioritize our walk Jesus. Truth is it is time for us to quit playing games and get serious. Get serious about living Jesus. Man, it's time for you to love your wife as a protector, a provider, and a pastor. It's time for you to lead your home as a provider, a protector, and a pastor.”

“Here's the reality. it is time for us to get our proverbial heads out of the sand. Sadly, most men, not all, spiritually asleep as husbands and as fathers. Here's the reality. It is time for us to get serious about living for Jesus by watching because there is the reality that he might return moment. And if Jesus could return at any moment, I do not want my Lord and savior to show up and maybe asleep as a father and as a husband. I I don't want the lord and say, my lord and savior Jesus Christ to show up, to call me home, to be with himself, and for me to be asleep as a disciple.”

“Here's the reality. No doubt there are some men in this room who need to get serious, about living for Jesus. There are some who need to kick sin off the doorstep of your heart and your home. And for some, it's gonna start by you choosing to follow Jesus in faith and repentance. And here's what I want you to realize. Jesus has the ability to transform your life, your marriage, and your family. And it begins with you taking the first step of choosing to follow The simple question that we wrestle with is simply this, are we gonna allow Jesus to change us from the inside to the outside through faith?”
