“``Regardless of the reason, we're all lost. Apart from Christ, we're all lost. We're all sinners. But the good news is is that even though we're sinners that we see this that the Lord earnestly seeks and he saves the lost. That Jesus comes and seeks to save sinners. Notice in our passage who Jesus is talking with. In the very beginning, he's talking with to sinners and tax collectors. He's talking to sinners and outcasts, and the truth is this is us. K. We are all sinners. We are all outcasts. We are all lost. And here in the passage, we see that it is his joy his joy to seek and save the lost. In verse 10, it speaks of repentance. When one sinner repents, is great joy. Right? There's great joy when that happens. Repentance is acknowledging your sin. It's mourning over your sin and turning from your life of living for yourself to a life of living for Christ.”

“When one sinner repents, is great joy. Right? There's great joy when that happens. Repentance is acknowledging your sin. It's mourning over your sin and turning from your life of living for yourself to a life of living for Christ. And when one sinner repents, when one sinner does that, understands God's love and and understands the gospel, turns from their sin, and trusts in the Lord for forgiveness of sins. When that happens, there's great joy. That person is saved, brought into the family of God, rescued, and found. So if you haven't if you haven't repented of sin, if you haven't trusted in Christ for the forgiveness of sin, then I pray that today would be the day. I pray that today would be the day and that when this happens, that there is great joy. Lord, there's great joy in all of heaven. There's great joy in the church celebrating God's saving work in your life.”

“He labored every day in the hot sun, it was hot, giving his time, giving his energy, even shedding tears, not just to build a house but that some would come to know Jesus, would have eternal life. think it's easy to remember. It's kind of fun to say. Hard to live, but all about the mission of the Lord, to seek and save the lost. So I think church, let's be about that. Let's be about that mission as as church, as individuals, let's be about seeing people who are once lost be found in Jesus, and give our lives in that same way for that mission. God earnestly seeks and save the lost. It was what brings it's what brings him great joy and the smile to his face. Heaven celebrates when one sinner repents.”

“It it wasn't about building and completing this house, but when he was translating and and we were praying that this family would be a shining light in their in their community and that many in the neighborhood would be saved. That's what got him choked up. That's what was powerful to him, and that's what he lived for. Not just to build this house, but that many who are lost would be found. And that got him. Roberto. Right? Listo para Christo. He wants so much to be used by the Lord that the lost might be found. And for me, this was just a window into his heart. He labored every day in the hot sun, it was hot, giving his time, giving his energy, even shedding tears, not just to build a house but that some would come to know Jesus, would have eternal life.”
