#LeadEachPerson
“``Don't think that it's you. It's it. When you have good people, release them so they can grow and they can build and they become better leaders. Give God praise. Will you stand with me today? So different people need different leadership. I'm so blessed, and I'm so happy today. I'm so blessed today that you have an opportunity to pour into your leadership, and you can become a better leader tomorrow than yesterday. Here's the conclusion. Strong leaders don't lead like don't lead everyone alike. They lead each person forward. And here's the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus saw people clearly and responded with both grace and truth. He challenged the proud. He encouraged the discouraged. He restored the falling, and he patiently developed his disciples, every one of them different. At the cross, Jesus carried our sins. He died in our place, and he rose again so that you and I can receive forgiveness and new life, new life. Can you give God praise for that truth? That's what he did for us.”

#OnboardAndClarify
“A new employee, you gotta onboard them. Right? And and a person with a good heart, you gotta teach them. A volunteer may care deeply but still needs training. Here's this. Here's the deal. Potential is valuable but potential still needs preparation. People cannot meet expectation that they have never that have never been made clear. So here's the deal. Someone who needs direction, here's what you gotta give them. You gotta give them direction, gotta explain the task, you gotta define the outcome, and this is huge. You got to show them, you gotta make sure they know what success looks like. Now,”

#DelegateToGrow
“So delegation increase competence. It gives you the opportunity to correct and give people a teachable moment. Augusto, come on up and start playing with me. Amen. You're good. Amen. It gives it gives it gives people the opportunity to learn to grow. See, development is not cloning. It's trusting how people have responded, right, to your coaching and to your teaching. Development begins when leaders stop doing for people what they're ready to do for themselves. So when leaders do everything because it feels better, faster, safer, they may complete today's task while weakening tomorrow's team.”

#ToughLoveBuildsLeaders
“I thank god for pastor Jeremy Manko who fired me from playing the piano. Because he said, Corey, you your god got something better for you. You talented and you gifted. You could play the piano, but you came to me and said, the lord called you to preach. So here's what I'm a do. I'm a be mean to you, and I'm a fire you so you could concentrate and focus on preaching. was mean because the the choir was thriving. The choir was doing good. The choir was doing great, and I felt like he was being mean, but what he was doing was loving me. And that mean lesson increased my competence.”
