#HopeForTheHopeless
“``Because all of us have something that that we think maybe has gone too far. Maybe it's a relationship. Maybe it's it's part of your story that that you're not proud of. Maybe it's it's a dream that you feel like you've lost. Maybe it's something inside you that you think will always be broken. But Chris' story reminds us god's not intimidated by the places that you think have no hope. He's not. God specializes in bringing hope to hopeless situations, to bringing light to dark situations, to bring restoration where we thought there was none.”

#NothingIsImpossibleForGod
“Is there something that I've labeled in my life as too broken? Is there something that I labeled in my life that that is is too far gone or or too impossible for anything to change about it? Because Chris' story reminds us that what feels impossible to us is not impossible to god. So today, as as we worship, I wanna invite you to to surrender those things to god. Maybe you need god to to restore something in your heart. Maybe you need to to trust god with a new chapter in your life that you might not completely understand. Maybe you need to stop trying to write a story on your own and allow him to write it instead.”

#HealingWithin
“That's the part of the story that that I don't want us to miss today. Guys, the greatest restoration wasn't that Chris was able to start attending harvest again which we are very thankful for. Amen? Amen. The greatest part wasn't that Chris was able to rejoin the praise and worship team which we are grateful for. Amen? Amen. But the greatest of Chris's story was that god brought healing to something inside of him that he didn't think could be healed.”

#NewBlueprintsNeeded
“And I think that that's a that's a a principle, something that we can all learn and apply to every single one of us today, and then it's gonna be our second point from today. Second point we could pull from Chris' story is that you cannot build something new using old blueprints. cannot build something new using old blueprint. Sometimes, we want a different outcome. Right? But we don't want to address the things that are producing the outcome.”

#AcknowledgeToAddress
“Because here's the truth, you guys. You cannot address what you refuse to acknowledge. You cannot address what you refuse to acknowledge. And I am sure if you ask Chris that there would be a time in his life that he wished that he could acknowledge things sooner, but I'm positive that if I asked anybody in this crowd that you would say the exact same thing. Guys, you cannot address what you refuse to acknowledge, and then of course, you cannot walk through life alone. You cannot refuse to let anybody walk through life with you either.”

#GodWritesNewChapters
“Last point I want us to to get from Chris' story today. Is god restores what we thought was beyond restoration. God restores what we thought was beyond restoration. What I find such an amazing part of Chris' story is that god didn't just work on his heart and then leave him there. Right? God, he he began to write a new chapter in Chris' life. Think about that that Easter Sunday that that he was invited and Chris walks back into these doors. A place where honestly for Chris was probably one of the most painful chapters in his life and and he said and he that he expected, you know, to to feel resentment and he expected that there might be hesitation or he expected there might be some difficult emotions that he has to process through but instead, he experienced something that only god could do.”

#BeTheOneWhoSees
“Relationships, they work two ways. it it it isn't just a question of of do I have people that see me? There's another question that says, am I someone who sees others, right? Because sometimes, we're praying, we're saying, god, you know, send me encouragement. Send me somebody to speak life and and to what I'm going through right now while god is trying to tell you to be the person to go speak encouragement in somebody else's life. Guys, who has god placed around you that you need to see? Not just their role, not just their position, not just what they do, not just what they can do for you, but who they really are.”

#UnexpectedSeasonsTogether
“Chris is standing in a moment where where he he thought that everything that he was building was going perfectly, then suddenly, everything looks completely different. Right? And while every person's story might look a little bit different, all of us will eventually walk through moments that we didn't expect. Right? We all have have seasons that we didn't plan for. We all have situations that we didn't ask for. We all have have moments where we have to ask, like, what do I do now? And while we walk through these moments, it's vital for us to remember that we do not walk through them alone.”
