35s
“But through faith in Jesus blood, your sin is removed. My sin is removed. Righteousness is given. Eternal life is given freely as a gift. Anyone that receives that now is made righteous, purified, forgiven, born again, and brought into the family of god and now you are seated with Christ in heavenly places right where he is so that you can have communion with him.”
43s
“Notice all of this, not having my own righteousness from the law, but that which comes from Christ through god, through faith. The very next word say, that I may know him. Why did god make us righteous through grace, through faith so that we can know him? He brings us right into the family and brings us into connection with the lord and now your life, Christian, is a lifelong pursuit of knowing him. Without that righteousness, you could never be there close enough to actually get to know him. Because without with sin still in the way, you can't even get close to god.”
41s
“``Three hundred years ago, the definition of the gospel was the good, glad, merry news that makes a man wanna dance and leap and spin for joy. That was the definition of the good news three hundred years ago. News is something that's already happened, not a list of things that you have to do. So the good news is something that's already happened. They're reporting on something that's happened, not a list of things you have to do. Now there are a bunch of things that you should do after you're born again, and actually, they'll come so naturally.”
56s
“Most of us, we see ourselves as ugly, weak, unworthy, like, I would've never died for me. Yeah. But he loved you so much, he died for you. His blood, we sang about it today, but his blood declares your worth. worth is defined by what he was willing to pay for you. The worst of anything is defined by what someone's willing to pay for it. Did you ever try to sell something on marketplace or something and and you it's way too high of a price and people are like, I ain't paying that. Alright. It's not worth that. But if you find someone that will pay that, it's worth that because somebody just paid it. Well, Jesus paid with his blood and his life for you and I and for all the world. So you're worth it. You're worth the life of the son of god. You're worth That suffering, that torment, all that was laid upon him on the cross and it is suffering. You are worth that.”
