#PurposeForTheForgotten
“We're usually the ones that do the forgetting, but we're also the ones that have felt like that forgotten loaf of bread sometimes, that didn't get to be where it thought that its purpose was, didn't get to be where it thought that it would be used, but felt like the the life in the world and everything else was passing us by, that we found ourselves ignored or scarce or hurting or missing out. And yet, God still had a purpose, and a moment, and a plan. So that the loaf of bread that started out being forgotten is the only loaf of bread in my life that I have remembered. Because the kingdom of God is when God shows up in our lives, and God shows up each and every moment that we look for.”

#ParablesPointToGod
“``The thing about parables is they're never really about us. They're always about God. These small little glimpses, these small little touches, these small little reminders that God is in our midst. These small little clues that if we look deep enough, if we look far enough, if we look underneath things, and yet if we look right in front of us, we will see the fingerprints, the evidence, the face, the life, the movement of God in our world.”

#KingdomAllAround
“Because the thing is is that the kingdom of God is all around us. It's something that moves inside of us. It's something that moves around us. It's something that we're moving toward and yet is present with us today. It is this thing that we live in and yet strive for. And it's something that can transform our lives in a way that is unexpected, and yet is still exactly what Jesus told us it could be. It is the very life of God with us.”

#MysteryOfTheKingdom
“When we talk about the kingdom of heaven, when we talk about the kingdom of God, we're we're talking about this thing that that is beautiful and yet complex, and yet it's so simple, and it's so subtle, and yet it's so obvious. It's it's this tangible thing that we grab onto, but it's also so slippery that that that it's hard to really kinda nail down sometimes. And we had our Thursday morning men's bible study this week, and one of the questions that was asked was, what is the kingdom of heaven?”
