#ResurrectionVictory
“This is not just a story about what happened two thousand years ago. This is a declaration of what is available right now. And because when Jesus rose from the dead, he did not rise a victim, he rose how? As a victor. See, after the resurrection, Jesus made a a powerful statement in Matthew twenty eight eighteen. He said, all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Not some, not partial, but all. That means everything that stood against us, sin, death, the grave has already been defeated. Because of the resurrection, we are not trying to get victory, we are living from victory.”

#FreedomBySubstitution
“See, he took our place so that we could take his. This means he took our sin so that we could receive his righteousness. He took our defeat so that we could walk in his victory. He took death so that we could receive life. Imagine Barabbas walking out of that prison, chains removed, sentence canceled, life restored, and all because someone else took his place. The the Bible does not tell us what Barabbas did next, but one thing is certain, he walked away free because someone else carried his cross. He walked away free because someone else carried his cross and that and that is the message of Easter. The same thing that happened to to Barabbas has been made available to each and every one of us. You don't have to carry what Jesus already carried.”
