#JesusSaves
“But even in the darkness, there is always the hope of the lord Jesus Christ. Who is that king that can do what no other king can do? He bled on the cross for your sins. He died and was buried and rose again on the third day so that every man and woman and boy and girl in the world who would give up and lay down their kingship and their kingdom and say, Jesus, you can be the ruler of my life. They may have eternal life and they may live in the kingdom with power.”

#Idolatry
“And your life will fall apart if you try and push God off of the throne. And what happens is you will put something or someone on that throne. I wonder what that would be for you. Money? Success? Pleasure? Reputation? Control? The human heart does not like vagrant thrones. It will try to put somebody there or something there every time. So when you push god out of the side, you see, when you stop worshiping god, the issue is not that you won't worship anything. The issue is that you worship everything.”

#FalsePromises
“But in all actuality, the bramble bush was known for catching on fire in the wilderness. And that's the way it is that when we put other idols and other things in place of God in our life, they make promises that they cannot keep. They say to us, you can abide under my shade. They say, I will lead you well. And rather than giving giving giving shade, they end up burning our lives down.”
