#PassTheFaith
“``But the enemy of that unity is this false sense of self reliance. I have to hold on to my place, my image, my role, or I have to do it myself, no help, no guidance. This is not God's plan. Faith isn't something you guard. It's something you give away, something you hand off, something you entrust to the next generation. A real church is not made up of independent believers, but interdependent family.”

#LegacyOfFaith
“That deep desire in your heart to make a difference, to answer that call, to leave a legacy. We talked about how that is common among all of us, and we can help each other to get there. Somehow, you know it didn't begin with you, and somehow you know it won't end with you. You get to play a part in a wider story that is God's. Whoever came before you knew that this life wasn't about holding on, but about giving away. Whoever came before you knew that you needed to have those keys as well. Faith, our faith, speaking Graceway centrically, our faith as Christians, our faith isn't for holding on to. Our faith is for handing off.”

#StepIntoCalling
“Who might be there to give you permission to step into that next call? Don't let youth hold you back. Don't let don't let, inability to see what's next hold you back. God has great things for each of us, and only working together can we really realize his plan. So you could change a life by handing over the keys, by opening your hand and taking the keys, whatever side you find yourself on. Samuel was the redemption of Israel and the redemption of Eli's life, and God would redeem the world through Samuel's legacy. Samuel would anoint David who would usher in Christ, but it started with that humility, that curiosity, and that boldness to say yes. Faith isn't something that we guard. It's something we give away.”

#WeNeedEachOther
“Sometimes we feel alone. Sometimes we feel like we're pursuing our calling alone. Sometimes we feel like we alone hold the keys to whatever it is that we are doing. If we're older, maybe we feel like we're the last one who can really do it right. If we're younger, maybe we feel like there will never be anyone who helps us to get it done. The truth is, God has given us one another. God has given us each other. And this life isn't about how how independent we can grow, but about how interdependent God's family can be.”
