When you put your faith in Jesus, you are not just waiting for a future hope—you have already been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. This is not something that happens only when you get to heaven; it’s a present reality that changes how you see the world and how you live every day. God’s desire is to bring His kingdom to earth through His people, and you are called to live as a citizen of that kingdom right now, shaped by His truth and grace. Rest in the assurance that you belong to Him, and let your life reflect the light you have received. [03:29]
Colossians 1:13-14 (NLT)
“For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.”
Reflection: In what area of your life do you still live as if you belong to the old kingdom of darkness, and how can you intentionally step into the light of God’s kingdom today?
Jesus did not come to bring a superficial peace that avoids hard truths; He came to bring a peace that passes understanding, but also a sword that divides. When you stand for the truth of who Jesus is and what He teaches, it may cause division—even among those closest to you. This is not about being combative, but about being faithful to the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable or unpopular. Following Jesus means embracing both His peace and the cost of standing for Him in a world where two kingdoms are colliding. [07:38]
Matthew 10:34-36 (ESV)
“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household.”
Reflection: Where have you felt tension or division because of your commitment to Jesus, and how can you respond with both truth and grace in those situations?
The foundation of your faith is not your own version of Jesus, but the truth of who He actually is—the Messiah, the Son of the living God. It’s easy to shape Jesus into someone who fits your preferences or culture, but real transformation comes when you surrender to the truth revealed in Scripture. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Build your life on this unshakeable rock, and let your beliefs and actions align with who He truly is, not just who you want Him to be. [13:29]
Matthew 16:15-19 (NLT)
“Then he asked them, ‘But who do you say I am?’ Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means “rock”), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.’”
Reflection: Are there ways you have shaped Jesus to fit your own preferences or culture? What would it look like to let Scripture define who He is for you today?
God created every person in His image, male and female, and designed relationships to reflect His purpose and order. The world’s culture may try to redefine identity, gender, and relationships, but God’s Word is clear and beautiful in its diversity and design. Embracing God’s truth means honoring the way He made you and others, celebrating the uniqueness of every person, and living out relationships according to His plan. This is not about exclusion or hate, but about loving people enough to point them to the Creator’s original intent and the wholeness found in His ways. [28:38]
Genesis 1:27 (ESV)
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”
Reflection: How can you honor God’s design for identity and relationships in your own life and in the way you treat others today?
The world offers many keys—pop culture, politics, personal beliefs—but only God’s way unlocks the life you were made for. Jesus calls you to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that everything else will fall into place as you put Him at the center. This means letting go of the world’s definitions of success, identity, and truth, and choosing to walk the narrow road of obedience, worship, and holy awe. God’s kingdom is unshakable, and when you build your life on Him, you can live with confidence, gratitude, and purpose no matter what shakes around you. [38:08]
Matthew 6:33 (ESV)
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Reflection: What is one practical way you can seek God’s kingdom first today, even when the world’s way seems easier or more appealing?
In a world where two kingdoms—heaven’s and the world’s—are constantly colliding, it’s crucial to recognize that, as followers of Jesus, we have already been transferred from darkness to light. This isn’t a future event waiting for heaven, but a present reality that shapes how we live right now. God’s desire is to bring His kingdom to earth through us, and that means embracing His truth, even when it challenges our preferences or offends our sensibilities. We don’t get to pick and choose which parts of Jesus or His teachings we accept; we receive Him as He truly is, not as we wish Him to be.
The collision of these kingdoms is not accidental. Jesus Himself said He came not just to bring peace, but also a sword—a dividing line that separates those who stand on His truth from those who prefer the world’s ways. This division can even cut through families and close relationships, but it’s a necessary part of living in the light. As a community, we are committed to grace and love, but also to standing firm on the essentials: Jesus is the Son of God, the Bible is God’s true word, and everyone must be born of God.
We often try to unlock the blessings and culture of heaven with the wrong keys—pop culture, politics, personal beliefs, or even silence. These keys may seem appealing or easier to use, but they cannot open the door to God’s kingdom. Only the keys of God’s truth, His way of doing things, and a life surrendered to Jesus will unlock the unshakable kingdom He offers. This means allowing God’s word to shape our views on relationships, identity, and morality, even when it runs counter to the prevailing culture.
Parents and leaders have a special responsibility to train up the next generation, not by passively permitting the world’s influence, but by actively modeling and teaching kingdom values. The rainbow, for example, is not a symbol of pride as the world uses it, but a reminder of God’s mercy and faithfulness. Ultimately, we are called to seek first His kingdom, trusting that everything else will be added as we walk in obedience and holy awe of our King. The kingdom we receive is unshakable, and our hope is secure because of what Jesus has already accomplished.
Colossians 1:13-14 (ESV) — > He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Matthew 10:34-36 (ESV) — > “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household.”
Matthew 6:33 (ESV) — > But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
You know, the Bible says that he is the way. He's not just a way. Got a lot of people think they got ways. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Listen, no one comes to the Father except through him. Except through what? The truth. We good? That's the rock. That's what we're built on as a church. [00:13:29] (25 seconds) #JesusIsTheOnlyWay
Let me say something that you may not like. He's the boss. You're not. He's the boss. I'm not. Listen, this is going to be really hard for some of the generations in here. What he says goes. Okay? He's the man. Okay? So, his way of doing things is the only key that will unlock this door. [00:17:09] (29 seconds) #GodIsTheBoss
As a believer, you and I don't have that luxury. As a believer, I don't just get to receive any truth I want. I go to the truth. Whether it offends, whether it cuts, whether it hurts, whether it divides, I go to the truth. To the truth. That's what we stand on. Not this. This is cool. Just because it's cool doesn't mean it's right. Just because everybody else is doing it doesn't make it right. [00:20:21] (30 seconds) #TruthOverPopularity
``We believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. That's a kingdom key. We believe that all of us must have a relationship with Jesus. That's a kingdom key. We believe that a believer needs to repent of their ways of doing things consistently. That's a kingdom key. We believe that the Bible is the spoken word of God. And it's all true. Kingdom key. We believe that Jesus came to bring his kingdom to this world. Kingdom key. We believe he is king. He is Lord. And it's his way or no way. Kingdom key. We believe that God can forgive anyone at any time. Kingdom key. We believe that God is a God full of grace and truth. Kingdom key. We believe that hooking up with Jesus comes with a cost. Kingdom key. We believe that he is the king of all kings. The Lord of all lords. And there is no name greater. There is no name higher. Kingdom key. We believe that he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So if it was truth 2,000 plus years ago, it's truth today. We believe that as his kids, he loves us with an everlasting love. But calls us to live holy lives set apart from this world. Kingdom key. Kingdom key. [00:36:52] (76 seconds) #KingdomKeysUnlock
You're not going to find it in all of these things. These are a lot louder. They're a lot shinier. They're a lot brighter. The road to this is a whole lot wider. This is narrow. Not a lot of people want to walk with this key. But this is the only key that unlocks heaven's door. [00:38:36] (19 seconds) #NarrowPathToHeaven
Since we are receiving a kingdom, listen, that is unshakable. These are shakable. These will fall. This will not. In other words, we win. We win. That's the bottom line. We win. Why? Because he already has. But it's unshakable. Let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him. Listen, with holy fear and awe. How do we walk in heaven's kingdom? holy fear of who God is. That he's the king of kings. He's the Lord of lords. He's the Messiah of the most high God. [00:38:57] (48 seconds) #UnshakableKingdomVictory
