#BornAgainNotEarned
“``What part of born again don't you get? We're born again. We're born as babies. We have to learn. We have to grow. There's there's things that we do not to be saved but because we're saved. We're told to love one another. We're told to serve one another. We're told to help the poor. We're told to look after widows. We're we're told a lot of things. These aren't things that we do to earn god's love. Hopefully, you didn't have to earn your parents' love. Hopefully. I can tell you for a fact, you didn't have to earn god's love because there's nothing you can do to earn it. There's nothing you can do to push it away either.”

#SavedThenServe
“So, this morning, are we trying to earn our way in the heaven? Are we trying to work our way into heaven? Are we trying to do anything? Now, granted, the Bible says, faith without works is dead. Does that mean you gotta work to be saved? No, it means you gotta work because you're saved. When you get saved, it's not the end of the journey. It's the beginning.”

#EncounterWithJesus
“It's until you meet the one without sin. When you meet Jesus and you're faced with the holiness of the god who created the universe, that you realize just how filthy you are. you realize that you are a sinner and that you are helpless to do anything about it apart from Jesus. That's the moment. That's the moment that your life changes forever. Because once you know, once you realize that you're a sinner, once you know just how filthy you are compared to god's glory, there's no way to go back.”

#ComeAsYouAre
“we see a lot of people nowadays even teach that to be saved, that to know Jesus as your lord and savior, that you gotta do certain things. How many of you have ever heard that you gotta clean yourself up to come to church? I've heard it. I've heard people say it. Well, you know, I I can't go to church right now. I I there's too much stuff. I gotta get straight. I gotta get my life straight then I'll come to church. That's backwards. come to to Christ to get straight.”

#SinNature
“Here's the point in all of this. Just like kids, just like children, we as adults, as human beings, if we are left up to us, we're going to choose sin every time. You know, when we think of sin because we've met Jesus and this, we had such a good talk this morning. We really did and some of it was about what we were supposed to talk about. But we had a really good talk about how people who are lost, lost sinners, don't realize that they're sinners.”

#ReflectChrist
“Here's the thing. Y'all seen those commercials for teeth whitening? And these folks don't realize how dingy their teeth are till they hold up a thing beside them that shows how it's supposed to look and they go, oh. That's sin in our life. People who don't know Jesus think they're fine until they're faced with somebody who does know Jesus and it starts making them feel like maybe I'm not so fine and they don't like that. So, they attack Do people see enough Jesus in you to get mad?”

#OnlyJesusCan
“And what we don't have is the capacity to fix it by ourselves. can't straighten myself out. Jennifer's been trying for thirty one years, and she can't straighten me out either. Only Jesus only Jesus can straighten us out. Only Jesus can fix the sin problem in our lives and guess what? He already did it. He did it. He died on the cross to save us all from our sin. He paid the price that we all owe.”

#ServingFromLove
“I don't know everybody's heart in this room but I know everybody in this room needs Jesus. You know your relationship with Jesus And I gotta tell you, if you're sitting there this morning and you know that you're a sinner and you know that you need Jesus, okay. You didn't figure that out on your own. So, the holy spirit is talking to you. If you are, are you still trying to earn god's love? Or do you is that why you serve? Is that why you do things? Or are you serving because of your love for god?”
