#GraceNotWorks
“``Let's not set aside the great gift that we have in Jesus in order to try and earn our salvation by some other means. If that were possible, if it were possible for us to earn our salvation, then Christ died for nothing. Why would God go through such outrageous and costly lengths to save us if there was a way for us to do it ourselves?”

#SavedByFaith
“And if you're sitting in this room and you trust Jesus, then this should bring you huge amounts of comfort and relief. Huge amounts, Knowing that when you stand before the judge of all things, of all people, you are acquitted of your wrongdoing. We are saved and we receive God's grace by faith in Jesus Christ. Nothing more, nothing less. We can't add to it, and any other attempt to gain a status of righteousness before God will fall short.”

#AcquittedNotInnocent
“And what I wanna do is I wanna make sure that we don't confuse something. Right? I don't want us to confuse acquittal with innocence because they're two very different things. Right? Innocence, means that you are truly, factually free from blame. You didn't do the bad act. It's a real world truth. It's not just a court status. And if we were innocent, then we would actually really be able to stand righteous before God. But we can't. The only person who's ever achieved this is Jesus.”

#NoMoreDivisions
“See, our actions say things, don't they? Even without words, our actions speak. Peter's actions say that there's a difference between you and I. Right? Us Jews and you Gentiles. Almost kinda like we're better than you in some way. And so I'm I'm actually not gonna associate with you anymore. Now the problem with that message is that there is no difference. Right? God God has said there is no difference between these two groups of people anymore. Right? The grace of God through Jesus is for any and every person who will come to him regardless of race, social status, family, talent, charisma, wealth, any of it. It is for everyone.”
