#GraceThatLeadsToRepentance
“God is so good to us. He's giving us one more chance even yet today to turn to him, to follow him, to believe in him. So don't ignore god's righteousness. Get a get a view of it. Get a glimpse of it. Don't think you're better than everybody else. Get a glimpse of god's righteousness. In your heart, believe and follow him. Secondly, his demonstration of righteousness is his loving kindness. Remember I underlined that quite a few verses back? That god's patience, his his demonstration and patience and kindness and waiting is a demonstration of his loving kindness which is designed to lead you to repentance. Even you believer, if you're caught up in some kind of cycle of sin, he hasn't smooshed you yet. He hasn't wiped you out. He wants his loving kindness to lead you to repentance.”

#WrathRevealsRighteousness
“All of this is the gospel, you guys. It's all the gospel. I know this is the hard part of the gospel. But here's the truth about this part of the gospel that god places people under his wrath not to just merely be punitive, but so that they can see the righteousness of god, so we can see the righteousness of god, and turn to Jesus Christ to repent of his sins of our sins. And so his loving kindness is meant to lead you to repentance. And, yes, it is his loving kindness that places you under the wrath of God.”

#HeartChangeBeforeWorks
“Now there is a temporal use of wrath, and that right now we could be under the judgment of god, but he's doing that to lead us to repentance. He's not doing that to condemn us forever. But here it says that there's there are those that are storing up wrath for themselves on the day of judgment when it's gonna be revealed. And he says he's gonna render to each one according to his work. So the next verse in this verse kind of sounds like we're saved by our performance, by our works. But I need you to understand this, that the things we do, the decisions we make, the actions that we commit come out of our heart, the condition of our heart. And so our actions reveal the condition of our heart. It's not the other way around. So in other words, don't tell me I'm gonna get my life altogether, and then I'm gonna get saved. No. You get saved, and god changes your heart.”

#BelieversNeedRepentanceToo
“And so we're I guess we could say in a sense we're religious people. We love god. We follow god. We wanna obey god. We wanna live for god. We give money to his program. Yes. But don't think because we're that kind of people that you're exempt from the wrath of God. God is at work in your life. Even you as a believer can get caught up into the same things the pagans do and the same patterns of unbelief. And we must not forget that god's loving kindness is still at work, and it's his loving kindness that leads us to repentance. Whether a believer or unbeliever, don't ignore the righteousness of god. And so a couple statements here for you. God's goodness lead you to repentance.”
