#GodsHandAtWork
“``Right? I think of God bringing all of us together. Right? There's no way that Jeremy and I and our team, our staff, even the elders, the stewardship team, our personal team, so many of you who volunteer, there's no way we can orchestrate what God is doing here. But we see God's hand moving through each of you, through those in our next service, to those who volunteer, to those who are on stage, up there in production. Hey, guys up there. You don't even see them up there that are serving in our family ministry environments.”

#HearGodThroughScripture
“the beautiful thing is is that we can hear from God. We can see where there's direct teachings like Jeremy referenced the Sermon on the Mount. Right? There's direct teachings that let us see what it looks like to follow him. The stories of the Old Testament, the parables and the stories in the New Testament, they're there and they're there to help reveal who God is through Jesus.”

#TrustGodsPlan
“Right? And then when we hear I have something else for you. No matter how much you're like, no, I want this. I want this. That's our plan. We have to trust his heart for us. See, God's answers may not always line up with our desired answers, but his will is what we're actually praying for.”

#CalledToServe
“I went to a a man who I still have such respect for. He just recently passed away, but a super godly man. And I sat down with him and I said, please help me understand what I'm feeling, what I feel the holy spirit is nudging me to do, is to leave this world that seems really, really good to go do this church world thing that we don't know anything about.”

#WhoToPrayTo
“Right? If you've been to an event, a wedding, a funeral, a ballgame, a NASCAR event, right, you may hear someone pray to God, someone pray to Jesus, maybe even someone prays the Holy Spirit, and you're kinda going like, I don't know who I'm supposed to pray to. Like, how do I even get this prayer off the ground and going?”

#ThornInTheFlesh
“Paul, one of the greatest followers of Jesus, he prayed, he pleaded, and God's answer was, hey, you're gonna keep this thorn in your flesh because it keeps you humble. It made Paul continually look to his heavenly father and say, I can't do this without you.”

#ThyWillBeDone
“Like, we can have a confidence in it that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. Right? It ties right back to the lord's prayer where he says in in Matthew six ten, thy will be done. When we pray and say, god, here's what I want, but thy will be done. We can be confident that he hears our prayers.”

#WaysGodSpeaks
“but those are not the primary ways that God speaks. So we wanna talk about some of the primary ways he does speak. Yep. And nor me, I've never had God audibly speak to me, but I know when I've been nudged and guided by the Holy Spirit to be like, this is the direction that you're supposed to go. The first one we think about those four primary ways is is through what we can read in scripture.”

“When you hear the not yet, we have to trust his timing. Right? And then when we hear I have something else for you. No matter how much you're like, no, I want this. I want this. That's our plan. We have to trust his heart for us. See, God's answers may not always line up with our desired answers, but his will is what we're actually praying for.”
