“Does your life reflect a life that is filled to want to be obedient to the things of God's word? Are you seeking to live a life that honors Jesus? Is it possible to see that by the way you live and by your actions that you are bearing fruit for Jesus Christ? Would people around you say that? Would your family say that? Would people in our community say that? And the lesson that we learned from Judas is we don't want to be just a part of the group that is around Jesus. We want to be a follower of Jesus. We want our lives to be fully connected to him. That we believe with all of our heart that God has raised Christ from the dead, and that our lives are we are who we are because of what Christ has done in us.”

“And today, my prayer as we look at the story of Judas is that our lives will not reflect Judas, but our lives will reflect the savior. A savior who has loved us, who has done incredible things for us, who lives within us and empowers us to live a life that brings honor and glory to himself, a life that points to Jesus, a story that is being written not about us, but about Jesus Christ. May all of our lives reflect Christ.”

“And thanks be to God for what Jesus Christ has done for us. Thanks be to God for the blood of Christ that changes our life for all eternity. Thanks be to God that we have the opportunity to confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and to live a life that only he can do, as he has raised Christ from the dead and given him great glory.”
