#SamsonsFall
“You guys ready to read one of the saddest verses in scripture? But he did not know that the Lord had left him. And the Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes and brought him down to Gaza and bound him with bronze shackles, and he ground at the mill in the prison. I don't see this with any type of humor, but I say this in reality. I am pretty sure that being blind, shackled, and bound like an animal to a grind mill in prison is a place that has no joy. Right? Samson lost the joy due to disobedience.”

#DailySurrender
“Joy, true joy, is directly connected to our relationship, fellowship, and daily surrender. I I would encourage you every day before you get out of bed, say, god, I surrender. I surrender to you today. I surrender to what you want today. It's a daily surrender to god through the continuing work of the spirit, big s, the holy spirit. Because see, we cannot walk contrary to god's will, god's purpose, and god's plan and expect to consistently experience the joy of his presence.”

#JoyProtectedByGod
“The world offers a lot of things, doesn't it? Promises a lot of things, doesn't it? Pleasure without holiness, freedom without truth, happiness without God. But counterfeit joy will fail and will not last. Proverbs fourteen twelve says this, there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is way of Sin promises satisfaction, but eventually produces emptiness. God commands are not designed to restrict joy, but to protect and preserve it. This promise and principle we see laid out to Israel in Deuteronomy's, it is one I believe is universal truth. This is what it says in Deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 19 through 20. We're almost done. We're gonna land the plane. You guys ready?”

#JoyInGodsPresence
“David, under the inspiration and revelation of the holy spirit, declares in Psalm sixteen eleven that true joy is found in only one place and only one place only, my friends, and that's the presence of God. Amen. Amen. The last few weeks, we have been covering different ways that's accomplished in our lives. And this morning, again, I wanna share another essential truth regarding the joy of the Lord. The joy of his presence. And throughout scripture, we learn something important. The joy of God's presence is preserved through obedience.”
