Adam and Eve heard God walking in the garden’s cool breeze. Their bare feet pressed into soil they once tended with Him. But fig leaves scratched their skin as they crouched behind trunks, hearts pounding. One act of disobedience turned companionship into terror. When God called, “Where are you?” Adam stammered about nakedness and fear. The presence that once brought delight now felt like fire. [42:28]

Sin still makes us hide. We cover shame with busyness, achievements, or anger—anything to avoid His gaze. But hiding drains joy, leaving us hollow. God’s question isn’t accusation; it’s an invitation back to face-to-face relationship.
