34s
“Don't let worry rob you of peace, bring it to God, and experience his peace today. Now, Paul knows it doesn't mean that, oh, God opened the jail cell. He just said, see you later Brutus and walked out and everything was happy and he went on a ship and it didn't get wrecked and he lived happily ever. No. That's not that's not Paul's ultimate goal in life, is it? Doesn't mean that the issues will disappear, but it does mean that in that we know who's with us.”
38s
“And and please hear me. Paul's not saying your pain isn't real. He's not saying that you're more sinful because you worry more it's real it's not an easy thing to get rid of but what is he saying he's saying it isn't final. It doesn't have to confine or define you today. Many things that you can can that can rob us of our peace and lead us away from joy. What does Paul give us the solution? Rely on Christ.”
36s
“And I believe that this is worry, it's an inside job. Think about it. It isn't simply something happening around us. I I think it's something happening within us. And that's why we can't overcome worry merely by saying to ourselves or other people, stop worrying. Because it's a heart issue. We need something deeper. We need to find peace in something or more importantly, what Paul's saying is someone. We're we're looking for that security and he's inviting us to find it in Christ.”
