#LetGodSpeakFirst
“If you look at Peter, he was not supposed to be in the court area when Jesus was getting tried. He told him. In different words, he was telling him not to go, but he went. He got in trouble. When you lag behind, you're like a lamb out of the herd and the wolf, it's easier to get that one. You're vulnerable. So, wrap this up, living in Christ means in his word, being around others, praying, and then also remember praying really, sometimes we think it's fifty fifty or maybe eighty twenty, which means I do majority of the talking, try to get you on the same page, Lord. No. Get in the word and let him do the talking first, and then let your prayer come around that passage. Then add your supplications later.”

“The phrase that Paul uses, let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, was really a play on words. They would have known what that meant in the Roman area, in the Roman government, especially to Roman citizens. You see, let your manner of life be worthy is really means from the Greek, live as a citizen. To Roman citizenship, they knew that live your life worthy means live as a citizen. By using this language, Paul was really encouraging the church from prison. Your citizenship is not here. It's in heaven. It's far greater than the Roman Empire. And he was encouraging them to magnify the Lord.”

“You have the motivations of the church prayers. You have the motivation of Christ dwelling in you. Raise the flag that he's present. He just doesn't wanna take residence. He wants to be the president of your life. And he says, live confident. Have no shame of the gospel. And he says, live a consistent life. And how do we do that? We do it together. We stand firm in one mind. Doesn't mean that we're gonna think alike. We can agree to disagree on some things, but we cannot. This is what's dying for. This is worth losing your job for. This is what's being kicked out of school for. That is Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life.”
