55s
“``I'm not going to justify disobedience anymore and there's going to have to be a consecration to say that this is what I value. I value God. I value the work of God And when the spirit of God just pricks your heart, be quick. Be quick to respond. Don't let it take a whale to get your attention. But just that small little nudge to say, God, I agree with you. That's wrong. I agree with you that my priorities are out of place, and I wanna consecrate myself again to you. Be quick to respond. Be quick to confess.”
54s
“We don't deserve to experience the salvation that he has and you know what else we don't deserve? We don't deserve for God to say, hey, I want you to be involved in the mission that I have now for the world. I have a message that I want you to take to other people. So here we are, undeserving sinners who have received and experienced the mercy of God, now commissioned and committed with a message of mercy to the world. You know what that is? That's grace upon grace. That's just the goodness of God toward us that he would allow to have a the privilege to be involved in that in any way, but that is just the kind of God that he is. And thank God for that. Thank God that at his very core he is a God of mercy.”
43s
“even when, you know, we seem to to live in in a time where it just seems like people can stomach the word of God less and less, so they can stomach truth maybe less and less. And and I will say it seems like Christians can stomach obedience less and less. Preach the word. Be faithful to declare God's word. is what God is expecting of his messengers. Just say what I am bidding you to say.”
48s
“The second thing that we see right here is that God's messengers are to speak exactly what God commands. his grace is greater than our failures. And when we are sent by him, we are to speak exactly what it is that he wants us to be speaking. God gave him a second chance, but that second chance also came with a clear command for Jonah. Just say what I'm telling you to say. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just say what I am telling you to say. Don't add anything to it. Don't take anything away from it. Diminish it in any way.”
