#ProclaimJesus
“``But the heartbeat of this passage, one of the things we cannot miss is this word proclamation. John's entire life revolved around introducing people to Jesus. You can't miss it. I mean, John had one mission and that was to proclaim the name of Jesus. He didn't build his own platform, his deepest desire was for people to meet Christ. And I just wonder friends, I wonder if that could be said about us. Can it be sad about you? When, when people leave a conversation with you, do they remember your opinions? Do they remember your frustrations? Or do they leave being reminded of Jesus?”

#LookToChrist
“In fact, John's entire message can be summed up very simply. Don't look at me, look at him. Don't look at me, look at him. In fact, he got in trouble later on in the gospel. We'll see this. He got in trouble because John was John was going to be faithful to God and faithful to the word even if it wasn't popular. And it wasn't always popular with the people in charge. The people who who were open and they had eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart wide open, they they clung to that truth that they needed. But the people in power, the people who were, the people who was angry at God, they didn't want anything to do with John.”

#LiveToProclaimJesus
“If your trust and faith is Jesus, then you've got a job to do. You gotta take a nod from John the Baptist and you gotta start being a proclaimer of Jesus. The show isn't about you folks, the show is about Jesus. This life, the breath in your lungs was given for one purpose and one purpose only. To show Jesus, to proclaim Jesus, to be a voice for Jesus in everything you do.”

#FaithfulToCalling
“So two challenges for you today friends. You're here and you're in one or two positions, maybe both. Maybe you're here and you need Jesus desperately in your life. Can I tell you following him is the greatest decision you'll ever make? It is good news for your soul. You might need a messiah. You might be going through the the toughest season of your life. You might be here. Your life is a mess and full of sin and that's okay. This is a hospital for sinners. There's no one perfect in this room. But the call is to put your trust and faith in him. No matter what you're going through, put your trust and faith in Jesus. If you do that for the first time, we call it being saved. But guess what friends? We need to put our trust and faith in Jesus every single day, every day.”
