You are loved before you lift a finger, because love is not just something God does; it is who He is. His love doesn’t rise and fall with your successes or your failures; it is steady, eternal, and rooted in His unchanging nature. You don’t have to persuade Him to care for you, and you cannot disqualify yourself from His affection—He has set His heart on you. This is the gift wrapped in Bethlehem’s manger: perfect love moving first toward imperfect people. Rest in the truth that He loved you yesterday, loves you today, and will love you tomorrow, because He never changes. [09:26]
1 John 4:9–10 — God made His love visible by sending His one and only Son into the world so we could share His life. This is love, not that we first loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to deal with our sins.
Reflection: When you’re most aware of your mistakes, what concrete habit could help you receive God’s unchanging love—perhaps praying a specific Psalm, writing a daily gratitude, or speaking one truth from Scripture aloud?
The target of redemption is the world, and the bullseye is the whosoever—real people, in real moments, often at inconvenient times. No one is outside the reach of His affection: not background, not baggage, not status. When you tune your heart to the Holy Spirit, those “random” encounters become appointments where God has already placed a bullseye of love. You may simply show up, listen, and point to Jesus—and discover that you were standing right in the middle of God’s aim. So, let no one around you say, “No one loves me,” while you stand within reach. [29:24]
John 3:16 — God loved the world in such a way that He gave His only Son, so that every person who entrusts themselves to Him will not be lost, but will share His unending life.
Reflection: Who is one “whosoever” you sense God placing on your heart this week, and what simple, timely step will you take to be present to them?
Redemption is free to us, but it was not cheap—He gave His only Son, the costliest gift ever given. God is not a taker; He is the Giver who pours out mercy, peace, wisdom, strength, and life to the full. He takes our sin, sorrow, burdens, and pain—and in exchange gives righteousness, joy, rest, and peace. In response, we offer Him what He’s worthy of: our trust, our worship, our love—and yes, our sacrifices of time, resources, and availability. Hold nothing back for the One who held nothing back for you. [35:48]
1 Peter 1:18–19 — You were not bought back from empty ways with things that fade like silver or gold, but with the priceless blood of Christ, like that of a spotless lamb.
Reflection: What specific “gift” will you give Jesus this week—an act of trust you’ve delayed, a sacrificial generosity you’ve avoided, or a step of worship you’ve withheld?
The gospel is bad news before it’s good news: sin pays out in death, and we all feel the weight of that diagnosis. But there is a cure—God’s great exchange where Christ takes our sin and we receive His righteousness and life. This is not about polishing behaviour or becoming a slightly better version of ourselves; it is about dead people being made alive. In Jesus, we move from darkness to light, from the miry clay to solid rock, from perishing to everlasting life. In Him, your story gets a different ending. [37:46]
Romans 6:23 — What sin pays is death, but what God gives is life without end through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Reflection: Where do you most feel the weight of “bad news” right now, and what single step could you take this week to receive and live out God’s “good news” in that very place?
God sent the Torah, the Psalms, the prophets, and even angels—but they were only words till He came. In Jesus, God drew near, moved into our neighbourhood, and made every promise tangible. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His presence turns theology into life, and doctrine into hope. As you abide with Him, you are sent to show up for the whosoever right in front of you, carrying grace and truth in real time. Let His nearness become your courage to be present, to listen, and to love. [42:41]
John 1:14 — The eternal Word became human and lived among us; we saw His splendour, the splendour of the Father’s unique Son, overflowing with grace and truth.
Reflection: What simple practice will help you move from talking about Jesus to being with Jesus—and how will you show up, in person, for one person He places on your path this week?
John 3:16 is set forth as the heart of Christmas: the God who is love moved decisively toward a broken world, giving His Son so whosoever believes need not perish but have eternal life. Love is the motive. Not reactive, not earned, not triggered by our worthiness—God’s love flows from His unchanging nature. Because He is love, His love cannot fluctuate with our failures or improve with our successes. He loved before we responded; He delights to deliver before we delight in Him. That is why the arrival in Bethlehem was not random. It was the right time, the planned arrival of Love in person.
The world is the target. Creation bears His fingerprints, and every “whosoever” sits in the bullseye of divine affection. No one can truthfully say, “No one loves me.” This pushes beyond abstractions into Spirit-led interruptions—those inconvenient moments at the pub or on the doorstep where God paints a target on a person and invites His people to step in. Being in step with the Spirit is less about platform moments and more about being available when heaven aims at a heart.
Generosity is the action point. Redemption is free to us but not cheap—God emptied heaven, giving His only Son. He is a giver, not a taker, and He proves it: salvation, mercy, wisdom, strength, joy, the Spirit, the Name, victory, every spiritual blessing. The only things He takes are sin, sorrow, burdens, and pain, and He exchanges them for righteousness, rest, joy, and peace. If Christmas is His “birthday,” He is worthy of our trust, worship, obedience, and costly love in return.
The purpose is a different ending. The gospel is bad news before it is good news: the wages of sin is death—but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Salvation isn’t behavioral polish; it’s resurrection—dead people made alive, pulled from the miry clay and set on the Rock. The Word was once “only words” until He came. In the incarnation, the Author stepped onto the page, bled on the cross, and walked out of the tomb. Christmas, the cross, and the empty grave form one story: love’s motive, the world’s target, God’s generous action, and our new and everlasting outcome.
But the thing is See God's love Is not dependent On any external circumstance Or any situation It is dependent Solely upon Him It's all about Him All comes from Him All is founded in Him All is motivated By Him And there is nothing We can do To earn it There is nothing We can do To get it There is nothing We can do To earn favour God just acts that way Because He is love It's God He does not do love And give love He is love [00:06:49] (34 seconds) #GodIsLoveItself
It's mightier Than death Do you know the love of God Have you experienced the love of God Has it been a while Since you've experienced the love of God Have you lost the first love you had for God Let me tell you You only love Him Because He loves you But let me tell you He loves you as much now As He ever has Because it's who He is You are not disqualified From the love of God The only thing that disqualifies you Is not to accept it [00:12:20] (45 seconds) #YouAreNotDisqualified
God's love doesn't flow from Or exist Because of our character But it flows from And it exists Because of His character God doesn't love us Because Jesus Christ died for us Jesus Christ died for us Because God loved us You see the pattern You see which way around it is It's all about Him It all flows from Him He initiates it It begins with Him He doesn't need us Or anything else To give Him the motivation to love [00:13:35] (53 seconds) #LoveFlowsFromGod
Because that brings it Down to a personal thing I think about the neighbour Who at the most Inconvenient time I was just waiting To go out I'm bursting into My front room Andy Why did Jesus die On the cross I'm giving out But right at that time They were the bullseye That God had signalled out And put right at the centre Of his thought Right at the centre Of his aim Right at the centre Of his motivation At that moment At that time That person was the bullseye Of his love The bullseye Of his affection The bullseye Of his redemption [00:26:51] (56 seconds) #BullseyeOfLove
Our God is not a stingy God He's a generous God Redemption is free But it's not cheap It costs us nothing But it costs God everything He emptied the bank vaults of heaven And gave himself The son and the father are one So therefore he gave himself It's the costliest price ever paid No one has ever Or will ever pay A higher price [00:29:50] (34 seconds) #GodPaidEverything
And walk with your head looking up No I don't avoid that Because you might But you know what I mean But He's the author of redemption So there shouldn't be any surprise That the resulting action Of His redemption Is generosity He's not a stingy God He's a God who gives everything He's a giver Not a taker You know the only thing God will take from you Is sin Sorrow Burdens And pain And He exchanges it With righteousness Joy Rest And peace Who gets the best deal here? [00:35:18] (40 seconds) #GodIsGiver
On Christmas Eve He turned up He knocked on the door No answer He knocked on the door Of the hotel room A bit harder She looked through The little Spoy thing And she saw her Children And her husband Standing there And she couldn't get the chain Off the door quick enough And he said Where have you been I've been calling you I've been ringing you I've been messaging you I sent you text message After text message After text message After text message She said They were only words Until you came See this God Is the God Who gave us [00:42:07] (68 seconds) #HeKnocksUntilYouOpen
To be the sacrificial lamb For your sin and my sin Your shame and my shame Was placed upon him That we might become The righteousness of God That we were redeemed By the precious blood Of the lamb That flowed down that cross That flowed out of his veins And we can have life The resurrection life That he has Because he conquered death [00:44:34] (32 seconds) #sacrificialLambRedeems
