#KnowJesusDeeply
“``Have I been with you so long and you still don't know me? I think there are a lot of us who have been coming to worship on Sundays, coming to our worship gatherings and you sing, you bow your heads at the right time. You might even raise your hands when we're singing. But you may not know this God, this Jesus, who loves you, who surrendered godhood to rescue you from your own sin and death.”

#ResurrectionChangesEverything
“And I have to confess this threw me into a rabbit hole. Greater than Jesus? Like, what is going on here? Greater than death and resurrection? How is this possible? I think Jesus would say, yes. Greater than that. Because it's at Jesus' death and resurrection that it ushers in a new age.”

#AbideHereNow
“And yes, this passage is absolutely talking about life after life, Eternal life. Right? That's absolutely true. But I wanna suggest that I think Jesus's words are so much more dynamic than that. Jesus is preparing a dwelling place, a room in God's house, a place to abide. And I think it has as much to do with right here, right now, as it does some glad morning when this life is over.”

#ReflectGodsLove
“I also can't help but turn this question pastorally into the question that when people look at us, who do they see? Do they see our heavenly father? Do they see his unreasonable hospitality? Do they see radical generosity? Do they see unwarranted love? Do they see God the father in our mannerisms, in our expressions, in our presence?”
